We arrived at a not so crowded park, the Adelian Park, few kilometers away from the Adelian Restaurant. We both climbed out from Adrian's car. After a short arguing session with Adrian, I left my car at Adelian Restaurant and one of my company's driver will fetch it later.

"So, where is it?" I asked abruptly.

He heaved a heavy sigh.

"I see, that's how we are gonna start our conversation," he showed how unpleasant he felt.

"Yes, because we have nothing to talk about other than what Mrs Jeckel's have told you to give me," I said decisively.

"I'm happy to see you again," he mumbled. "I'm sorry but I lied about that," he apologized.

My eyes widen in anger and annoyance.

"You never change, the same old Adrian, the selfish Adrian," I slurred.

He closed his eyes, taking all those bad words coming from me to his heart. "I'm sorry," he said.

"And I'm leaving," I said, began to whirl around to walk the opposite way. He stopped me, clutching my arms tightly yet gently. Slowly he began to slip his hand into his pocket.

"I'm not lying," his eyes painted with pain as he handed me the gold ring with a beautiful cute and shining diamond attached at its middle. "It's just, I don't want to annoy you with it," my jaw dropped soon after I recognized the ring.

"Your mom's wedding ring?" I asked and Adrian nodded faintly.

"She told me to give you this, she said go win your girl back before she left," Adrian spoke to the floor.

I run my fingers through my hair trying to find the best things to say, "I don't think I can go back to-"

Adrian cut me off calmly while slipping the ring back into his pocket, "Give me my second chance and I'll give you this ring on the right time, soon."

I shook my head weakly.

"I'm not asking for you the give me my second chance. I'm telling you," a hint of determination followed as he said that.

"Adrian..."

He grabbed my hand, brought it near to his cheeks. "I love you, always," he stared right into my eyes with visible desire and love coloured his eyes.

"So, how's life?" he asked abruptly.

"Good," I simply answered.

"Just good?"

"Yes."

"I'm happy for you," he smiled faintly. "As for me, I resigned from the Chemical Investigation Center and decided to work with my aunt, she got no child to help her handling Exile Co so she offered me to work with her. And recently, she told me that she wanted to name me as her heir. I didn't know how to react since it happened so fast," he didn't gave up easily, my cold behavior toward him didn't made him lost hope.

"Okay," I said, not sure if 'okay' was a right response or not.

"I still miss working at my old workplace. Business is not my forte, but everything happens for a reason, I meet you again working in this field," he beamed.

"Why don't you just leave me alone here and fo back to your previous workplace?" I suggested, sarcastically.

"That's harsh," he lowkey looked disturbed.

We continued walking to an undecided destination with thick silence between the two of us.

Adrian opened his mouth, began to initiate a conversation again, "Isha, how about you?"

"What?"

"Your current life?"

"I'm happy, happier than the last time I met you three years ago," I answered, sarcastically, again.

"Yes, you should," he whispered to himself but enough for me to listen to what he uttered. "Well, I heard that you resigned from Lavionile High and moved from your parents' house."

"Exactly on the day we called off our engagement," I snapped him harshly.

His face tighten and a sense of guilt was obviously showed on his face. He pressed his lips, inhaled deeply before continued speaking after he gathered himself together.

"Eleanor told me that-"

"You met Eleanor?"

"Yes. She told me that after you moved you decided to start your own business. I'm surprised, I never thought Fleur Choices is yours. Fleur Choices is big name in the world of business," he smiled, praising me.

"You underestimated me."

"Nope, remember when I said that I saw you as a most capable and one of the greatest woman leader I have ever known when we were still studying in high school?"

He remembered, I blushed.

"Eleanor also told me that you have gone through a lot as you left everything behind in your 'old life'. You cut everyone's off from your life, your friends, teachers and families except for Eleanor and your parents. I felt so bad because I knew I was the one who made you decided to do all that," he said, regretting everything.

"You have nothing to do with my decision. I did all of that not because anyone but for myself to grow," I said, putting all the blame on myself.

"No, it's me. The one who made you suffered a lot. For that I want to fix everything, your life, everything," he pleaded.

I glared at him. "Enough!"

"No, it'd never be enough till I fix everything. I love you," he said those three words again, and it kills me everytime he uttered it.

I sighed weakly, tired of arguing with him.

"Leave me alone, Adrian," I said, sounded a bit like begging.

"Isha..."

"Please Adrian, please."

"Okay, I'm giving you your space today. See you soon," he reluctantly walked away, leaving me alone.

I turned on my phone, planning to give my driver a call to pick me up. I looked around, the park seemed like a good place for me to give myself the peace I desired. Place for me to think about everything that Adrian have said to me. I heaved a heavy sigh before continued walking, enjoying the fresh air and the flower-like scent coming from my surrounding.
