"No!" I yelled, running fast toward the front door. Mom caught my hand, staring at me with tears shimmered in her eyes.

She faintly shook her head, telling me not to go.

"Mom I'm sorry, I'm leaving. This is too much for me," I pleaded and mom slowly let my hand go. I slammed the front door but few seconds later, I heard someone opened the door and Adrian's voice echoed, calling my name.

I decided to take the stairs to go down so that Adrian would not going have the chance to chase me and messed with my 'relax half day' anymore. But I knew I must hurried down as fast as I can because if Adrian took the lift, he might arrived first at the ground floor and that's the last thing I wanted to happen.

As I arrived at the ground floor, my eyes immediately searched for any signs of Adrian and when I was sure that I arrived first, I rushed to the main entrance of the apartment I've been living.

"Isha," someone startled me with a tap on my shoulder.

"What the-" I flinched. I whirled around and discovered Eleanor grinning ear to ear, looking at me.

"Why are you here?" I asked, curiosity hit me hard.

"Can't you see it? I'm visiting you," she said, still grinning.

"Eleanor, come back later. I have to go now," my eyes caught Adrian's figure limping out from the lift. He looked like he was searching for something, and that something was definitely me.

"But Adrian-"

I snapped, "I'm leaving. If you want to join me, let's go or if not, have a nice stay here."

Eleanor frowned. "Okay, I'm leaving with you."

She followed me, walking fast escaping from a big group of tourists as they were entering the apartment. "The hell are you running from?" Eleanor knitted her brows.

"Adrian!" I whined, answering Eleanor's question.

Eleanor looked shocked but she didn't said anything further. We both climbed into my car, and I immediately turned on the engine and pressed the gas pedal hard. My car started to move, leaving the building where my penthouse was located.

Soon after I felt sure that Adrian didn't followed us from behind, I reduce the speed, and my car moved slowly-not exceeding the speed limit as before-on the road. I passed my phone to Eleanor and she took it with a 'what to do with this' look on her face.

"Can you help me to text my mom and papa? I don't want them to worry about me."

"Your parents are here?" Eleanor's eyes widen and I sighed, "Yes."

Eleanor nodded and started to unlock my phone and texted mom. We shared almost everything including our password to unlock our phone just in case anything happened to any one of us.

"Done," Eleanor uttered. She slipped my phone into my handbag the backseat before leaning comfortably on her seat beside me.

"Eleanor, were you the one who told-"

Eleanor cut me off as if she already knew what I was trying to ask her "Yes, I told Adrian where you live."

"Do you know what you are doing?" I raised my voice, lowering my eyebrows.

"Listen, I'm sorry," she uttered sincerely.

"You know how much I hated being anywhere with Adrian right now. Don't you remember what have he done to me 3 years ago? Don't you remember how's my life after that? Don't you remember he was the one that made decided to change everything in my life? You are the closest friend I have, and I thought you'd understand me. But-but," I strutted, the anger in me slowly became a pain that stabbed my heart repeatedly.

I hold in the sob that was burning in my heart and mumbled, "with my parents witnessing everything at my house, it became worst. Do you have any idea on what you have done?". The pain in my heart became greater and few seconds later, I found myself wailing.

I heard sob beside me. I whirled and was shocked when I realised Eleanor was also crying, cupping her face with both her hands.

"I'm so-sorry Isha. I thought I was helping you by doing that," she sobbed even harder. "I-I don't know that you parents is coming today," she stammered, trying to fight her own sob. "I just want you to be happy. You-you never gave yourself chance to be happy after everything that had happened with-with Randy and Adrian. And when Ad-Adrian came to me and asked about you, he begged and pleaded, I thought I could help you so I told him everything. He-he is sincere with his feelings and he wanted to apologise," Eleanor explained, still stammering.

I parked my car at the edge of the road. I let Eleanor calmed herself because I knew she was startled with me, scolding her before she can even speak for herself. Few moment later, she removed her hand from his face and rotated her face, looking at me with puffy eyes.

"I'm sorry," she said.

I threw my arms around her and hugged her tight. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't raise my voice to you."

Eleanor nodded and lifted her head, looking at me. "I've decided something," she said.

"What?" I sensed that she would going to say something that would be going to shock me, because Eleanor was always full with surprise.

"I'm not going to get married before you. Let's get married on the same day," Eleanor uttered with determination.

My eyes narrowed. This time, Eleanor's surprise was beyond my own expectation.

"You can't do that," I flinched.

"I can. I have already told Michael's family and there's no turning back now," she said calmly.

"Eleanor! Why do you have to be stubborn like this?"

She rolled her eyes at my question. "Because you are a friend for life to me. Your happiness is mine too."
