The group started the long walk through the tunnels surrounding The Citadel. Ahsoka and Anakin led the group while you kept an eye out at the back.
As you throw your head back to check for anything following you, you spotted a small probe droid come around the previous corner. As everyone continues around another the turn you climb up to the top of the cave and wait for the droid to follow you. As you see it come through the gap you drop down igniting your lightsaber cutting the droid in two.
"I am beginning to admire the design of this fortress. It's rather formidable to evade." Captain Tarkin starts. 'Here we go.'
"How can you admire such a horrible place?" Ahsoka replies.
"I agree, no matter how impressive it may be. I could never give recognition to the people that made this facility for such a horrifying and cruel purpose." You spat, catching up to the two of them.
"You two reveal your shortsightedness. This ordeal only demonstrates how effective facilities like the Citadel are. Pity it ended up in Separatists hands and not ours." Tarkin replied to you and Ahsoka.
"He has a point." Anakin said bluntly, as you, him and Ahsoka stop for a moment. You and Ahsoka looked at each other and rolled your eyes in unison towards the captain.
"All right, you two lead the group. (y/n) stick to the plan, I'll catch up." Anakin said to you both.
"Where are you going?" Ahsoka asked Anakin as you headed towards the front of the group to lead them through the tunnel.
"Since (y/n) knows the plan the best, he should lead, and since Obi-Wan isn't here, we need someone to protect our flank." Anakin responded to Ahsoka. Ahsoka then quickly rushed to your side as Anakin headed to protect the flank.
"I'll tell you, the one good thing about walking around here, I don't need the best vision to see where I'm going." You joked.
"Is your vision getting better?" Ahsoka asked chuckling.
"Slightly, it is slowly getting better, but it's taking longer than I would have liked." You responded.
"I am...concerned that the Jedi have elected this half-blind child to lead our group." Tarkin stated from behind you and Ahsoka. You stopped and turned towards the captain.
"I may have impaired vision, but my hearing is perfectly fine Captain." You snapped as you leaned closer to him, intimidating him.
"I know what I'm doing." You informed sternly as you returned to lead the group. You then approached a wall which brought you to the end of your trail.
"Dead end." Ahsoka claimed in defeat.
"Rex, hand me them charges." You commanded while keeping your gaze on the wall, Rex took off his backpack and gave it to you.
"What are you doing?" Ahsoka asked curiously.
"I'm blowing up the wall, the wall is quite thin so we are able to blow through it and continue on our trail." You replied to her as you started to place charges on the lower portion of the wall. You stepped back and pressed the activation button on your wrist, a second later the wall exploded into dust and your new path was clear.
"Alright everyone, we are nearly there." You shouted for your whole group to hear as you were the first to enter through the demolished wall into a new cavern.
"(y/n)?" Ahsoka asked, walking close by your side.
"Yeah?"
"What did Master Plo say to you when he told you were going on this mission? Not to be rude but you don't normally do missions like these, do you?" She asked.
