It was now a few days after your day off where Ahsoka surprised you. Right now you were on your way back to the republic headquarters to check up on the fingerprints situation. You hoped today would be the day. You walked through the 212th barracks and greeted your battalion with some small chatter and good mornings. Then quickly strode off to the morgue.

"Hello?" you said as you entered. You took a look around the morgue to see Winnow, the clone which has been analyzing the fingerprints. He was hunched over the bench which had Simmons armor across it, his head in his hands, and looking stressed beyond all repair.

"Winnow, you alright?" you hesitantly asked, approaching him. He took a quick glance at you and you saw his red face, laced with confusion and fear.

"The results are in." he bluntly says.

"There over there." He says, pointing to one loose sheet of paper on the desk opposite him. You don't respond and instead eagerly make your way to the sheet of paper. You picked up the paper and studied it, it only contained a small amount of writing.

Fingerprint Analysis

59 fingerprints found | 59 successful identifications

16 marks on the body of CC-1915

43 marks on the armor of CC-1915

All 59 marks identify to be 1 individual.

All 59 fingerprints scanned and analyzed, are confirmed to match: Offee, Barriss

You dropped the piece of paper and it slowly floated down to the ground.

"Another Jedi. sir. Another Jedi...I...I can't believe this." you heard Winnow say, clearly shaken by the information he has discovered.

"No...there is only one Jedi who did anything wrong." You clearly informed. Winnow turned around in surprise by your tone and he stood up to face you. You lean, so your face is near his ear.

"I'll be back." you instructed firmly.

"Don't tell anyone else, until I give you the word." you threatened.

"Of course Sir." he replied. You immediately stormed out of the room, picking up the piece of paper on the way out. 'I had it now. Everything that I needed. Now it is time for Barriss to pay!'

Obi-Wan POV

"Concerned for Skywalker, I am. His emotions, clouded, are they. Towards Senator Amidala and Rush Clovis." Master Yoda tells me. We are currently walking through the Jedi temple. We had just arrived back from a meeting at the senate, where Padmé and Rush Clovis were both assigned to investigate the stability of the banking clan. Anakin seemed rather tense and frustrated during the meeting.

"As am I, master. I should go and talk to him about his feelings towards this. I don't want his vision to become too clouded." I admit.

"Do that, you should."

"Goodbye Master." I say with a simple nod. I turn around and make my way to Anakin's quarters. I would be lying if I was too say I wasn't nervous of how he will react. I approach his door and let myself in. He was welding some machinery, but he looked tense. He hasn't been himself ever since he lost Ahsoka, neither had (y/n).

"I've been looking for you Anakin." I say approaching his table.

"Something wrong?" He hurriedly replies.

"You tell me."

"Not that I'm aware."

"Master Yoda and I feel as if your judgments concerning Rush Clovis are...clouded." I slowly hint. His eyebrows slightly furrow at the name and he puts all his strength into tightening a bolt with his wrench.
