Chapter 7 | Should I Kiss Her?

You wake up the next morning and are called on your comm link almost immediately.

"(y/n), come to training. We will be training with General Skywalker and Ahsoka today." Master Plo informed over the comm link. 'That sure does put me in a good mood.'

You got dressed in your regular robes and took your lightsaber, headed towards the training grounds. When you arrived Ahsoka was deflecting laser fire from two training droids with her two lightsabers. When she heard you enter the room, she stopped what she was doing, distinguishing her sabers, and looked over to you.

"Hey sleepy head." She greeted with a sly smile.

"What? I'm not late, am I?" She nodded, still with that beautiful smile.

"This is an hour later than I would normally expect to see you, but I figured I would let you off easy after that big day." Your Master told you.

"Can you at least see better now? So, we can have a fair fight." Ahsoka asked eagerly, bouncing up and down on the heels of her feet. She was excited.

"Well as a matter of fact, I can see now. Let's fight." You replied with an equally eager smile. This was your first time facing Ahsoka in a duel. You were both excited and nervous at the same time, you both activated your sabers with a special piece of tech that you attach to your weapon to make it safe on contact.

Ahsoka made the first move by quickly jumping above you striking with both sabers. You blocked both and when she landed behind you, she tried to take a quick shot at your leg which you also stopped.

You then advanced forward taking small swings to try and get around her sabers. But the advantages of two lightsabers would be almost impossible to penetrate with small strikes. You back off to catch a break, but only for a short moment as Ahsoka sweeps her leg in an attempt to knock out your ankles. But you just barely jump in time to avoid being knocked to the ground.

You exchange a few quick strikes, she then backs away, to take a moment to stare you down. This continues for quite a while, both of you getting close to landing a strike but never being successful.

"They're very evenly matched." Anakin commented.

"Yes, better make it first to obtain one hit, rather than three Padawans." Master Plo announced. After another tough 20 minutes of tough fighting, Ahsoka finally is the one to land a hit, when you were occupying your right side as she was striking you there, you forgot about her second saber. She quickly took the opportunity to strike you in your lower abdomen.

"Woo! That was too easy." She mocked as you both deactivate your sabers covered in sweat. You playfully push her shoulder and the two masters come over to speak with you.

"Well that was exciting to watch. Good job Snips." Anakin said to his Padawan.

"You both did a fantastic job with your endurance and resilience. I don't know about it being exciting to watch though, you should be analyzing her technique."

"Yeah well Ahsoka knows what she has to work on. Besides, seeing two good friends who are equally skilled duel is an exciting thing in my book."

Both Anakin and Master Plo get called on their comm link simultaneously.

"We have to go, you two should continue training." Anakin told both you and Ahsoka. Both of your masters left the training ground leaving you alone with Ahsoka.

"Jeez, I am beat." Ahsoka sighed. She lay down on her back, on a wooden bench that sat against the wall of the training grounds.

"Me too. I couldn't keep up with you most of the time." You complimented sitting down next her on the same bench, Ahsoka's montrals just lightly poking your leg. You both sit there in silence, breathing in and out to regain your breath. Ahsoka stretched out her arms in front of your face reaching for the towels hanging on the wall but unable to reach, you chuckled at her cute actions.
