I feel myself falling, however I can see nothing but darkness surrounding me. I bring my arms out from my sides and part my fingers so I can feel the air move through my fingertips. I let my eyes fall shut and enjoy the feeling of falling. Everything is quiet and I barely even hear the wind in my ears from the speed I am moving at. I block out the world and focus on the freeing feeling. I am weightless and completely helpless. Whatever happens to me when I reach the bottom is out of my control because I'm in the hands of gravity free falling through the earth. There's a beauty in having no control. After a while, I open my eyes to see a flicker of light below me, growing larger by the second. As I fall further down I see a pool of water lit up by torches hung on the surrounding walls. I plunge into the water, squeezing my eyes shut as a huge splash erupts around me. The water feels good against my skin and I stay under the surface for a few seconds enjoying the cold refreshing sensation. After a few seconds I rise to the top and gasp for air, I didn't even release I was struggling for breath. I swim slowly to the edge of the pool and pull myself out of the water. I run my hand through my wet hair to drain the water slightly and look around to see that I am inside a cave. I see 3 archways towards the back of the cave leading off into three different passage ways. The ceilings are high with dirt hanging low making it uneven. The floor is also uneven with massive rocks scattered around the ground. I look up directly above the water where I had fallen from, however I can only see darkness above. I begin walking to a corner leaving a trail of dripping water behind me, where I bump into a tall man.

"You made it" He says grabbing onto my shoulders giving me a small smile. I look up to meet a pair of stern eyes which twinkle slightly in the flame lit room. Its him. It's know them eyes.

"You were expecting me?" I ask confusion thick in my voice

"Yes, you took a while to get down here but I'm glad you made it. We have to get going" Before I can ask him what he is talking about he starts to walk around the corner we were standing on, moving deeper into the cave. I jog after him trying to follow as close behind as I can. I have no idea why he was waiting for me but I decided to wait and find out instead of asking any questions.

We reach a long hallway which we begin to walk down. It is narrower then the pathways we have walked beforehand and also the ceiling is a lot lower. His hand reaches out behind him searching for my hand and I gladly take hold of it.

"There's about to be a lot less torches so stay close, this tunnel is quite long" I nod even though he won't see me from behind him and focus on how dark it's getting. I squeeze his hand a little harder. I'm not scared of the dark generally however, there's something about being in enclosed spaces in the dark that makes me feel uneasy. It's also getting colder the deeper we get into this tunnel. I now wish I had asked more questions. It seems rather foolish following this man whom I've not even asked for a name, into the dark depths of the earth.

Suddenly he comes to stop.

"You good" The man turns to me still holding onto my hand and searches for my eyes. I nod at him and he stares intently into my eyes letting a small smile play on his lips. I awkwardly clear my throat which makes him whip round and reach his free hand in front of him. A bright white light shines lighting up where we are standing. I see a hand shaped hologram appear around his palm and sensors rapidly moving around his hand beeping occasionally.

"Identity approved, welcome Theo." A clear British voice says.

I here a click and Theo pushes against what must be a door.

My eyes open suddenly to be greeted by the blinding light of the morning sun. I look around my room to see I'm in my apartment.

"Dammit" I whisper as I throw my head back against my pillow.
