Fired

"You're fired"

"Excuse me, what?" Seulgi thought she heard wrong when his boss from the other side of the desk talked.

"You are fired, you no longer work here" the man kept his gaze on the computer not really paying attention to the poor young woman sitting in front of him.

"Can I at least know the reason i'm being fired?" Seulgi demanded an explanation because this was just like a normal day at the office she came in and after a few minutes she was called to her boss office.

"Because miss Kang you were seen in compromising acts with one of your co-workers, we do not tolerate that behavior here. You must've known the consequences before engaging with him." He took off his glasses looking straight into seulgi's shocked eyes and moved his hand up, pointing to the door.

She had no choice, she really had no choice other than leave the office and pack her belongings. as frustrated as she was this was also her fault, she should've thought twice before giving into that guy's games.

Seulgi stormed through the cubicles without containing her tears anymore she grabbed her stuff ready to leave and forget everything about the night before and this day. Suddenly a hand touched her shoulder she abruptly took it off turning around and noticing it was him.

"what's going on? why are you crying?" he asked being obnoxiously oblivious to the situation which angered seulgi.

"what does it look like?! don't pretend you don't know asshole, you ruined everything!" he faced him with now furrowed eyebrows, screaming at him. "you told me there was nobody here at that time that no one would catch us but guess what?! they did and someone informed it to boss and now i'm fired!!"

"you're too loud, calm down"

"no, actually let's make sure everyone knows that you fucked me in one of these tables yesterday night and now i'm jobless because of your fault!" seulgi shouted every single word, leaving the whole department in shock.

"it's your fault too!!" he tried to defend himself but it was useless.

"but you lured me into it you motherfucker!" seulgi was out of breathe, she stared at the guy's eyes for a little while until her tears started coming in waterfalls just then she made her way to the exit.

her tears made her vision blurry, seulgi walked and walked the streets without a destination she didn't have a place to go of course her apartment would be the obvious answer but if she went there she knew she'd be wasted. seulgi had an alcohol addiction so she would rather stay away, she knew it was her fault she got fired but her brain was in denial for some reason.

seulgi's legs were tired of walking, she had walked so much she didn't even know where she was at the moment. her steps were slowing down, her feet stopped when her tears were no longer coming out, the strong wind made the green strands of her hair stick to her face. when she turned her head to the left she found a help wanted sign on a huge window seulgi thought she was hallucinating.

Seulgi rubbed her red eyes so she could see clearly, and indeed it was a big clothes shop called red velvet that needed an employee, could this be destiny? It was such a weird coincidence but she went inside without hesitation.

She pushed the glass doors, the first thing that she noticed was the sweet scent that went through her nose, the arranged clothes, the shiny wood floor and the calm music playing.

Seulgi looked around and her eyes landed on a tall gorgeous short haired woman with a cute smile on her face behind the counter.

"Hi! Welcome to Red Velvet, my name is Joy, how can I help you?" She smiled sweetly, seulgi worries about her puffy face, so she tried not to get closer to her.

"I saw your help wanted sign and I would like to work here." Seulgi said a bit insecure, she hadn't thought about it a lot but it's just a simple retail sales work right?

Joy got all excited and said it was pleasure to have her working there, she asked for her name and basic information. Seulgi thought it was a bit strange she didn't ask for her curriculum but again this was a clothes shop nothing too formal to be asking for it... right?

Seulgi was getting a bit anxious when she was asked to go inside with Joy to her office. There was literally no soul in the shop, the clothes were intact and only the sound of their shoes echoed in the room.

The security cameras moved when the girls did but seulgi didn't notice. Behind those cameras was someone looking at the footage in the comforts of her home.
