Jisoo feels like a teenager all over again, she even recalls her first date with Irene but those times are long gone she doesn't need to remember them anymore.

She couldn't sleep last night thinking about Irene, something that didn't happen before going to the party, if she hadn't gone maybe her mind would have left her alone.

The household was usually very quiet, none of the family members were early birds which made Jisoo feel old or maybe that's how she was raised. Her father would always made her wake up early to make breakfast and take her to his office so he could teach her about businesses, management, etc.

As the first daughter of the Kims she was obviously the one that would be the successor of her father. She was just a little girl she had no saying in anything. But as she grew up she realized she was not made for this world, and unfortunately her little sister Jennie had to take her spot.

Jisoo was currently making herself a cappuccino when Jennie walked to her.

"Good morning Jichu, why are you up so early?"

"I have to go somewhere today."

"Do you want me to send you protection?"

"No Jennie, it's okay I'm not an active member of the family so I doubt someone might follow me, plus I'd like some privacy."

"Mmm... Don't leave, I can feel you're a bit tense."

"I'll be back very soon, don't worry, big sister will never leave your side."
Jennie smiled and hugged Jisoo very tightly, almost leaving her out of breath. Jisoo doesn't exaggerate when she says Jennie is the reason she continues to live.

Jisoo's long purple hair flows nicely while she walks the not so busy streets at that hour, a rush of energy shocked her body making her smile, she was sure Irene would be there in the meeting point by now, she had always been like that, if they agreed on an hour she'd be thirty minutes earlier.

Irene was actually doubting now, the voices in her head were tormenting her all night and she didn't know how to make them shut up. So now she was standing in the middle of her bedroom, already dressed up staring at the nowhere.

"Boss, we need to leave now!" Yerim's voice snapped her back.

Calm down Joohyun, this is going to be easy, no feelings involved.

As much as she repeated that sentence in her mind when she saw Jisoo smiling in front of her all feelings and memories came back.

Irene didn't bother so smile back and just greeted her, Jisoo felt it, she felt how her lips wanted to curve in a smile but she fought it.

As they entered the café Jisoo ordered for them since she remembers Irene's favorite dessert and coffee. When the dishes came Irene looked disappointed.

"I don't like this cake anymore and I prefer iced tea instead of coffee. Do you still live in the past or what?" Irene angrily said making Jisoo's smile disappear.

"Maybe I am, sorry."

Jisoo met Irene in one of his father's meetings, they were childhood best friends so naturally they'd want their kids to be so too. Joohyun was really shy and Jisoo an outgoing social butterfly, both girls avoided each other because it felt as if they couldn't get along.
