Irene finally got up from bed and put the gun in one of her nightstand drawers. Downstairs there were Seulgi and Wendy playing video games that she didn't know they had.

Irene flopped down beside them and sighed, Seulgi noticed her and stopped the game to pay attention to the older.

"Wanna go eat outside? Surprisingly it's a nice weather today!." Seulgi took Irene's hands in hers.

"I don't really feel like going out." Irene slowly talked.

"It's fine! We can just eat in the garden!" Seulgi smiled.

"You're full of smiles today and yesterday, what's up with that?" Irene questioned.

"Well... I don't know, since you've been sad recently I thought I'd cheer you up!" Seulgi stood up from the sofa and told Wendy that she had an idea for what they could eat that afternoon.

Wendy and Irene saw each other like asking themselves what was wrong with Seulgi, did they pressed the happy button or what?

In the end Wendy got dragged by Seulgi, the younger told Irene to put the table while she cooked.

Irene didn't complain, afterall it was nice that Seulgi had changed her attitude towards her, it seems like she doesn't hate her anymore which brought a wave of calmness to her life.

Joy and Yeri were verbally fighting as always, so the older took both by the ears and scolded them.

Everything was back to normal in the Bae Household.

Wendy, Joy, Yeri and Seulgi were all smiling so bright and enjoying every moment, they really looked like they were raised together. Maybe choosing to live wasn't a bad idea as Irene thought, she still has her heartwarming family.

Yeri was already sitting down in the table complaining that she wanted food, Joy was doing her best to try to bring the dishes, Wendy was screaming inside because Seulgi had put sugar instead of salt in the soup, Irene was just by the pool looking up at the sky, one of the clouds was covering the sun.

By the time Seulgi calles everyone to the table, Irene had fallen asleep in the grass. The younger had to wake her up gently.

Joohyun didn't believe in the phrase 'after the storm comes the rainbow' because it didn't happen in her life, her life had always been a storm... Until that day, where her family and girl she loved were eating lunch together.

Everyone interacted with everyone, they all laughed and shared their stupid stories, especially Yeri that always had one.

"So okay one day I was about to kill a guy but as soon as I started strangling him he fucking shit his pants it was so gross really the grossest thing ever." Yeri finished and laughed while everyone booed her and threw her the tomatoes they didn't like from the salad.

"Hey!!! Don't play with the food, I made this salad." Seulgi pouted.

Irene found everything about Seulgi cute, she didn't know why though, she was very sure that the younger would never ever soften with Irene, even she found it fun to play with her but since Wendy looked so concerned about her methods she tried to control herself a little.

And it was just like that, her impulses were still there but recently with all the events she's not been focusing on Seulgi at all.

"So you're telling me you've eaten human flesh?!" Seulgi looked so shock when Yeri confirmed it.

"Well yeah it tasted like pork but very very hard to chew, I wouldn't recommend it." Yeri finished.

Irene laughed because Seulgi's face was frozen, well it was understandable since she's from the outside.

"Yeri is cannibal that likes to collect dead woman and make them her dolls, Joy likes to drug people and have sex with them while sleeping, Wendy once killed a chicken and it scarred her forever, and I well... I guess you know me, Seulgi." Joohyun took a sip of her beer.

Seulgi was astonished like she knew all of them were some type of freaks but not like this.

"I didn't presented you my family properly so here we are, The Baes." Irene finished with an applause.

"Joohyun are you drunk?" Joy looked concerned.

"No. I guess I'm... glad Seulgi is here with us." She lowered her head in embarrassment.

The whole table started to tease her by laughing and whistling, Seulgi and Irene looked at each other as if they were the only ones that existed at that moment. It was also the first time the younger saw Irene's blushed cheeks.

As the sunset made the sky look a very beautiful pink, Irene was again in her bedroom looking outside when Seulgi came in and hugged her from behind.

"Ah, it's you." Irene said in very low voice.

"You're not happy to see me?" Seulgi asked leaning her chin on the older's shoulder.

"I am, also I'm very happy that you're getting along with everyone." Irene laughed written her arm over Seulgi's that were hugging her waist.
"Is it okay if I tell you something?"

"Yeah, tell me." Seulgi broke her embrace so the older could face her.

"I love you. I love very much and I am really sorry because I was too aggressive to you in the beginning... but you just wouldn't come with me and I had to... you know." Irene was flustered again, she felt some arms lift her up making her legs secure around Seulgi's waist.

"I'm in love with you too, Joohyun." Irene opened her eyes so big, it was not true she was not believing it. "Trust me, I won't leave your side. Never."

Irene could've started cryiomg from happiness but instead she kissed Seulgi while she walked her to the bed where she delicately placed Irene.

"I love you." Seulgi repeatedly said while leaving kisses all over Joohyun's face and neck.

"Stop! It tickles!" Irene laughed at the playful contact. She wished this moment never ended, she was happy just like this with Seulgi and her family. Now that she knows Seulgi's true feelings she was in cloud 9.

How could the most terrible day in her life become great in just a matter of minutes?.
