R(e)ality

Joohyun woke up due to the bright light coming through the window, she didn't know what day it was, she only remembered Seulgi being on top of her and then falling asleep.

She expected Seulgi to be beside her but she wasn't there, she thought she might be in the kitchen so Irene washed her teeth and face and headed downstairs.

She found Yeri and Joy talking in the living room.

"Good morning, where's Wendy I don't see her?" Irene asked.

"We haven't seen her and Seulgi this morning. We checked in their rooms and it's like they just disappeared." Joy commented.

"That can't be, Wendy must've gone to the supermarket." Irene quickly called her from her phone but she didn't answer. "Fuck! She has her phone turned off."

"Irene we think they might have left together..." Yeri said a bit afraid of how her boss would react. She got closer to her and lend her a white piece of paper.

"What's this?"

"Wendy's note."

Joohyun if you're reading this is because me and Seulgi escaped the mansion and I helped her. Please don't take this too personal, Seulgi wanted her life back something she couldn't have if she continued living there. In my case, your behavior has been changing very recently and I don't think I can deal with you anymore.

Irene's eyes were filled with tears, no this was just all a dream, this wasn't happening.

"No, it's not... No. No. This is a prank,  Seulgi told me that she loved me that she won't leave my side and then-" Irene broke the note in tiny pieces.

"I didn't know they were planing to escape, boss but it's true none of Wendy's belongings are here anymore" Yeri spoke.

Irene was about to collapse but instead she went in Wendy's room and found it literally clean, with no sight of her clothes, perfume or books.

Joohyun felt her knees weak. "Give me a... Break..." she said to herself. Now she was truly betrayed by her own family and the person she loved. The voices in her head tormented once again.

Wendy and Seulgi arrived safely to her apartment, Seulgi finally felt free and at home. She was happy to be back to her normal life.

Wendy had come with her and was also invited inside, she was surprised at how organized the place was.

She was really glad that Seulgi and her could get out of that place. Wendy still thought her note was a bit too direct but she didn't care, she was not Irene's advisor she was Son Seungwan a normal 25 year old.

"Is it really okay for me to live here? I mean I don't have job anymore so I can't help you with the rent." Wendy said unpacking her things, Seulgi smiled at her saying it was okay, both can get a job.

Suddenly Wendy's phone rang, when she saw the ID it was Joy, she didn't want to answer but she did it anyways and put her on speaker.

"Sooyoung? What's going on?" Wendy asked, in the phone call there was so much noise she can barely hear her voice.

"WENDY! OUR HOUSE IS BEING ATTACKED THEY KILLED YERIM AND THEY'RE GOING TO GET IRENE!" Joy sounded so desperate it made Wendy and Seulgi worry.

In the household, none other than Jennie Kim and her gang was destroying Irene's house, little by little her whole living room and kitchen became a mess, they killed Yeri who was totally unprepared and tried to protect Irene and Joy that were hiding.

Gunshots were heard and they didn't stop.

"BAE JOOHYUN GET OUT IN THIS MOMENT, we need to talk." Jennie was in the beginning of the hallway, holding a very loaded gun.

Irene was hiding in her office and grabbed a gun too. Joy was also there with her trembling in fear talking to Wendy who was a peaceful source for her.

Irene had heard her voice and Seulgi's too. She wasn't brave enough to continue fighting, she wasn't brave enough to receive the title of 'boss'. She had no reasons to be hiding from her destiny so she went out smiling at Joy saying this was the end.

Irene stood in the very end of the hallway facing Jennie, who immediately pointed her gun at Irene.

"You fucking bastard, you thought I wouldn't know that YOU KILLED MY SISTER?! HOW DARE YOU CALL YOURSELF MY FRIEND WHEN YOU KILLED SOMEONE SPECIAL TO ME? Tell me... Are you happy that my sister is four meters underground and you're still here living the best life? YOU BITCH!" Jennie's arm was shaking and her tears wouldn't stop coming.

"Her body was sold to the black market for a million dollars, she's not even properly burried." Irene had a blank expression in her face.
"Just pull the trigger, I don't care if I die, I've got no one left. I know I'm a monster and even worse. I guess I am sorry because I actually felt glad that your sister was dead. I hate you, Jennie Kim and your sister."

Jennie couldn't hold herself back anymore and pulled the trigger again, again and again, she didn't count how many times Irene's body was shot, the only thing she knew was that she was bleeding and dead.

Joy saw her body fell in front of her eyes and screamed while also keeping the call opened so Wendy and Seulgi heard everything.

"THEY KILLED JOOHYUN! JOOHYUN IS DEAD! HELP SHE'S BLEEDING SO MUCH" Joy was terrified, heels were heard walking in the hallways getting closer and closer until Jennies figure stood in front of Joy that was sitting in the floor, she looked up and a gun was out in her forehead.

Through the the phone Joy's scream and a single shot were heard and then the nerve wracking 'peep, peep, peep' of Wendy's phone.
