(S)alvo

Seulgi had fallen asleep after crying, Wendy took her to the bed as she got comfortable in the couch. The night was cold and scary with all the thunders.

Surprisingly Seulgi didn't have any nightmares, this time she was in a white room, as if she was in the limbo. Did she die?.

"sarai mía, Kang Seulgi." A soft voice ringed through her ears sos he tuned around but nothing was there, everything was white.

That phrase she felt like she recognized it from somewhere, the big poster that was in Irene's office, what did it mean?.

"It means you'll be mine, Kang Seulgi." The taller tuned around once again and found the owner of the voice.

Irene was there standing in front of her, with a weak smile but it was enough to make Seulgi's heart beat again. She ran to her but unfortunately she couldn't touch her, even though it was dream she couldn't reach her, she kept going further and further.

"Wait! I want to tell you..!" Seulgi screamed.

"What is it?" Irene curiously turned her head to the side a bit.

"I love you! I really do! And I'm sorry I left you I must've broken your heart into million pieces..." Seulgi stopped because Irene laughed.

"I know you love me, silly."

"But then why did you-"

"I thought I would never pay for my sins if I continued living, because you and Wendy left me it was almost like a wake up call. Humans are destined to make mistakes after mistakes, and I'm no different. I love you but I had nothing to live for anymore. I'm happy I could at least kiss you for the last time." Irene said.

"I'm sorry for leaving you, I was being selfish." Seulgi added.

"There's nothing to say sorry for. I love you Seulgi." Irene smiled.

Seulgi wanted to hug her but this Irene was just a product of her imagination.

She opened her eyes to the sound of an alarm clock. It was 7am. She was still in Wendy's apartment.

This was a different routine, they had breakfast in silence, the skies were still grey and sad. Both girls hopped on a taxi and drove to the familiar Bae Mansion.

Seulgi's heartbeat couldn't stop its fast rhythm.

When they arrived, Joy was there in the front door, Seulgi noticed the whole place has changed so much. Even Joy she had long hair now.

Sooyoung didn't hesitate to run and hug Seulgi until her bones were broken. "Welcome back" She said, what a warm welcome it's like she'd back home where she belongs.

Seulgi was informed that Joy was the new boss, she had a completely new arrangement of people under her commands, people Seulgi hadn't seen before.

It was so weird this mansion didn't scream Irene anymore. It made Seulgi sad.

"Joy, Seulgi would like to go to Irene and Yeri's grave." The three girls were silent for a few seconds and Joy nodded.

While in the car Joy was giving instructions through the phone with one of her workers, Seulgi thought she really looked like a boss now.

The ride wasn't so uncomfortable, Wendy and Joy hadn't seen each other in a long time either so they talked and talked making Seulgi at ease, forgetting her troubled mind.

The Bae family had its own graveyard, but only the highest ranks in the family had a bigger grave where they were buried together. And they went there. A huge grave decorated with white doves and rabbits.

"Why...Rabbits?" Seulgi asked.

"Irene loved rabbits so the Kim Brothers made that decoration." Wendy explained.

The two girls brought flowers, every shade of pink flowers they could find for Yeri and Irene only Seulgi brought red roses for Irene.

Wendy and Joy left her alone in front of the grave so she could have some time with Irene and Yeri.

Seulgi couldn't contain her emotions anymore and dropped to her knees making a bow on the floor.

"Irene, Yeri... I'm sorry for leaving you, I'm deeply sorry I couldn't be there in your last hours of life. I love you both so much. I hope you can forgive me. Irene, I'm sorry for being selfish. I love you too. sono tua, Bae Joohyun." Seulgi grabbed the brass under her hands and squeezed it until her nails were covered in dirt. Her cries were heard by Wendy and Joy.

It started to rain a bit so they made Seulgi stood up and leave but it was useless, she wanted to stay there longer. She got soaked in rain but she didn't care as long as she knew she was together with Irene.

But she couldn't stay there any longer, she'd catch a cold.

Joy offered her to eat at the mansion but Seulgi just wanted to return to her apartment. That was the last time she'll ever see Wendy and Joy.

She entered her apartment, and flopped on the couch sighing.

"This is all very very bad dream." She said to herself.

Seulgi opened her eyes once again and realized it was Monday, judging by her phone's alarm. She quickly got up and took a fast shower because she was late. She cooked some eggs and bacon with water because she didn't have time to make juice.

She ran to take a taxi and arrived to her company only to be called to her boss' office.

"Mrs. Kang i believe you're fired." He said in a harsh note.

"What?! Why am I fired?!" Seulgi asked a bit surprised.

"You literally made a whole report wrong, this could affect us and you are very aware of that. I do not want to risk my company in the hands of someone that is so distracted. Sorry but you're fired." The man finished and signaled the door.

Seulgi didn't have anything to say so she quietly grabbed her things and left the company, she was again unemployed. She has such a bad luck.

She didn't cry, she was just pissed off at herself, how did she make such mistakes is she dumb?.

She kept walking with no destination.

Suddenly her coat got stuck in a store's window, she got so annoyed she thought that was the last thing that was left to make her day horrible.

She kept pulling her coat until it finally got out, she fell on the ground and let out a groan.

"Shit, my ass hurts." She rubbed it and looked up, a huge sign in red that read Red Velvet down in the window it said help wanted.

Seulgi was kind of weirded out it felt like this had happened before but at the same time it's so new.

She stood up and cleaned her clothes from the dust, she grabbed the handle and opened the door to the clothes shop. A really tall girl with short hair received her with a huge smile.

"Welcome to Red velvet! How can I help you?"
