"Okay I understand." Seulgi spoke when she swallowed what she had in her mouth. "I wanted to ask you something, Irene."

"Yeah go on." Irene answered.

"That guy... Junmyeon who is he?" Seulgi was completely ignored by Irene who just stood up from her seat and again told her not to move from there, someone was calling her.

Seulgi realized she doesn't want to share anything with her and maybe to some extent she understands, but she wishes she could be more open rather than just sharing piece by piece. She was bored without Irene there.

Wendy had called her to a table where the Kims and Mr. Lee were all chatting. Yeri was finally preparing the meat in the grill as the smell coming from it made everyone hypnotized.

"Joohyun, come sit with us you gotta meet my friend Mr. Lee... Irene, Irene... Mr. Lee" Jennie happily said.

"Nice to meet you Miss Bae."

"The pleasure is mine." Both shook hands.

And yes, Irene was more than pleasured to meet him, Mr. Lee, everybody knows him. He's tall, good looking, always dyes his hair, uses color lenses and his clothes are very extravagant. But that's not all.

He's the owner of Rio de la Gold the most extensive hotel chain in South Korea, he's also a human trafficker, drug dealer and gambler. The perfect combination for someone like Irene, if she gets to make a deal with him her drug trafficking might become larger and more opportunities might come her way.

"So, let's get to the point I don't waste my time like this no no. Bae Irene, I would like to invite you to my fancy house tomorrow, I've got lots of things to discuss with you and I'm sure you'll be interested." He smiled, sipping on his coke.

"I'll be there, Mr. Lee I won't miss this chance." Irene also smiled, internally jumping from happiness.

Wendy, Joy and Yeri looked at her boss and gave her the thumbs up. This is the closest she's been to actually go international and she won't lose the chance. Irene knows how to make deals and it always goes her way.

Jennie was looking at her with her cute smile, secretly hoping she'd make the deal come true.

Jisoo could just keep silent the whole time, she actually didn't care about this, she had retired from this mafia world a long time ago. Jennie had insisted she'd have to make her company since no one else other than her bodyguards wanted to.

It was not cool to see Irene, it was awkward. She has tried to disappear from her life because she thought she'd still be mourning the end of their relationship but she's found another girl apparently. It hurt Jisoo's heart and it shouldn't since it has been more than three years since...

"Seulgi! Come here the meat is ready!" Irene called for her new girlfriend.

Jisoo doesn't see anything special in her. She's just too... normal and plain boring.

Seulgi enjoyed the food while watching everyone else talking about random things, almost as if they weren't talking about serious stuff earlier.

Irene wanted to protect Seulgi from these people, she knows them well since she's been in that position where you'd do anything to have someone's possessions. They are greedy and don't care about the methods they have to use to get to the finish line.

The afternoon came over their heads, it was around 5PM when everyone started leaving including Mr. Lee.

Irene was not feeling so happy afterall, she had waited and waited all day for her grandma but none of her other family members gave a single information.

She was expecting her grandmother to give her some updates on her father's health, but instead it made her worry a ton.

Suddenly when everyone had left the garden and only the four other people who lived there stayed the phone rang. Irene practically ran to it and picked it up.

Seulgi was observing her, while talking she looked distressed and later on it was like her heart dropped on the floor. She hung up.

"Irene are you okay?" Joy asked watching how she slowly gave in on the wall.

"I need to go to father's house, grandma said he's not feeling good a doctor just came so I need to go." Irene didn't think twice and exited the mansion. Her bodyguards following behind.

Joy and Wendy looked concerned while Seulgi innocently asked what was going on?

"Irene's father has been sick for a long time and it seems like now he's getting worse." Wendy explained.

"I really really hope nothing bad happens, Irene can't be going through this right now." Joy was also very sad but no one could do anything.

Hours passed and the clock kept going and going but no signs of Irene.

Seulgi had taken a bath and put some pijamas that Wendy lent her, Yeri finished cleaning the garden along with Yeri and the blonde was watching tv to distract herself a bit.

Seulgi was very worried, it's currently 11PM and Irene hasn't returned. She wanted to ask Wendy about her but even she didn't know, she doesn't answer their calls.

Seulgi was very sleepy so she decided to go to bed, she really tried to wait but it's past her bedtime.

When she drifted to sleep she started hearing some noise in the distance, glass breaking, people shouting. She woke up and decided to go towards the noise.

Outside of her room... In the living room she peeked through the wall.

Irene held a bottle of beer in her hand, she looked wasted, Wendy tried talking to her but they ended up shouting at each other, Joy and Yeri were nowhere to be seen.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT! WHY JUST WHY DID HE HAVE TO LEAVE ME TOO?! I was right in front of him when he finally closed his eyes, he didn't even say goodbye to me or grandma, I hate this I HATE THIS!" Irene stumbles.

"Joohyun you need to rest, I know this is very hard for you but everyone else is sleeping-"

"I DONT FUCKING CARE! ALSO WHY THE FUCK DID JISOO COME, SHE MADE ME REMEMBER EVERYTHING THAT I HAD FORGOTTEN I HOPE SHE BURNS IN HELL!" Irene threw the bottle against the wall and she dropped down to her knees crying her heart out.
