Irene could not process anything that was going on.

One moment she was almost crying because Wendy and Seulgi had left her and the other gunshots were heard.

It was so fast as if it was a movie, Yeri could feel some type of tension in the air, she kept looking outside while Joya and Irene were talking to each other in the living room.

She got closer to the window when screams were heard, as she looked outside the sight of black cars and women in black shooting the guards and destroying the entrance caught her eye, specially a very petite girl with brunette hair holding a huge gun.

"Go hiding, hurry up!" Yeri announced taking her gun out and pointing it at the entrance door.

Joy and Irene didn't understand what was happening but at the moment the door was kicked open both of them ran inside. Yeri stood there shooting the intruders, but they were too many and she ended up lifeless on the floor with 44 gunshots, all hitting vital organs.

Joy decided to hide in Irene's office, she has always been afraid of the sound of gunshots because they were similar to fireworks. She tried her best to stay calm but she started having difficulties to breathe and her eyes got filled with tears.

Irene who was beside her pulled her into a hug.

Both heard a loud scream coming from the living room and they could recognize it was Yeri.

"BAE JOOHYUN, SO WE'RE PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK HUH? FINE!" another gunshot. "SEEMS LIKE YOUR PRECIOUS YERI IS DEAD NOW! HOW DOES IT FEEL?!"

Joy knew that voice, it belonged to Jennie Kim. She looked up to Irene who had her eyebrows furrowed together, she didn't know if it was from fear, worry or anger.

What am I doing? Why am I here instead of confronting Jennie? Aren't I suppose to be a leader? Shit. Irene was drown in her thoughts, she tried to cool down her mind to see what she could do but nothing came up.

"Fuck." She let out. She was fucked.

While Joy called someone for help she stayed in the corner listening to her house being destroyed, probably her mother's jar was broken, the kitchen would be a mess, her pictures she painted from time to time would be stained with blood... then again what would be left for her to do? Was it worth the fight?.

Jennie's heels made echo in the hallways, her voice was harsh, she could kill her if she went out.

Suddenly Wendy's voice took her out of her thoughts, listening to her voice made her breathe again, she wanted to cry because she wished she was there with her. What did she do wrong? Where did she go wrong?.

There were so much questions she will never have a proper answer.

Then why was she even hiding? After all of these years and now she's afraid of dying?.

"Seulgi... Are you there?... I miss you. I love you. I'm sorry." Irene whispered, hanging her head low, she didn't expect the younger to hear that but she did and somehow Seulgi knew it was a goodbye from her.

It was hard standing up, going to the hallway and meeting Jennie. She didn't think of her family because at that point they were broken up. She had no one.

The one person she ever loved after Jisoo had abandoned her along with her dearest friend, her cousin was dead and Joy will most likely die too.

She was the only that didn't deserve to be alive, everything had gone out hand.

After her death she wouldn't be in a museum or anything she'd just be Bae Joohyun, another person dead by the hands of the mafia. She'd just be buried in a garden.

As the bullet drilled her chest and into her heart she heard Joy's screams, she fell into the cold floor looking up at the white ceiling.

"JOOHYUN!" Sooyoung was on the floor still holding the phone never stopped calling her name, her eyes and cute nose were red, she wished she could just give her a last smile.

Her head turned a little as she lost the ability to breathe and gave her a full teeth smile, making sure she wasn't so sad, because at least her last memory would be Irene's smile.

Jennie didn't have enough and shot her multiple times, she turned around and also shot Joy.

The mansion was again quiet.

Wendy was quick to go to her previous home... which was now destroyed in all the meaning of the word. It looked like a war had just happened there.

It was a home, like the old times Yeri was there to receive her with a smile but this time she was on the floor, she didn't dare to look further. As her eyes became a pool of tears she got closer to Irene's office and there her lifeless body laid on the cold ceramic floor, blood, there was blood everyone around her body.

Wendy gathered the strength from god knows where and found Joy inside.

Her whole world came undone, she dropped down on the floor beside Irene and grabbed her and took her into her arms, she was cold. Irene hated the cold weather. She'd often ask Wendy for hugs if she felt too cold.

Wendy hugged Irene's body tightly, she didn't care if her shirt got stained. Her tears kept on falling, she didn't want to let go because if she did, it would mean that Irene will no longer come back.

Wendy now had a hole in her heart, it all felt so wrong, Irene had died with the memory of the blonde betraying her, oh how Wendy just wished she could turn back time.

If she hadn't left with Seulgi, Irene would still be alive.

While she was hugging her sister, Junmyeon's voice called her and she immediately made him know where she was.

Junmyeon and his team grabbed the bodies and took them to the hospital.

"Please... safe her." Wendy pleaded to the doctor that took Irene's body.

Junmyeon wanted to cry but he has to be strong for Wendy.

"I'll do what I can."
