Taeyong had been waiting for so long.

Too long.

But this was just unexpected.

[Plot more twisty than my spine.]

*flashback*

It had all started last week. Lee Sooman had called Taeyong into his office.

Taeyong was really nervous.

Did he do something wrong?

Was he about to get fired?

Did Sooman find out that he was gay?

It took every last bit of courage, but Taeyong managed to reach Mr. Lee's office.

"You called sir?" Taeyong asked. Sooman just smiled.

"Taeyong, you're here! Have a seat." He said.

Taeyong sat down in the swivel chair that Sooman had in his office.

"Is everything ok Taeyong? You look like you just saw a ghost!" Mr. Lee said.
"No no I'm fine sir." Taeyong reassured.

"Well anyways. I'm pretty sure that you know your fellow male trainee Seo Youngho."

Taeyong's mind went blank.

He didn't know a Youngho. Could this be a new trainee he didn't know about? Did he train while Taeyong hung out with Red Velvet?

"His English name is Johnny Suh. Sound familiar?"

Taeyong nodded and smiled. "Yes sir. Why?"

"Well, he called me today. Well he actually called the building asking for me, but that's not important.
Since it appears that he doesn't have your phone number, he wanted me to ask you if you'll let him stay at your house when he flies here from Chicago."
"Tell him I said that he could."
"Alright then. Guess you two can get to know each other."
"I guess so."
"Now please go back to training. You're doing a fantastic job by the way."
"Ok sir."

Taeyong got up from the chair, bowed to Mr. Lee, and went back to practicing.

As soon as he got home, he ran to his room and screamed into his pillow.

He was so excited, yet so very extremely nervous.

He had to make sure the house looked very clean.

He cleaned every floor in the house, did the laundry, rewashed the dishes, organized everything, washed the windows, scrubbed the toilet, dusted the shelves, moved all of the furniture to clean it and under it, made sure all of his clothes were ironed, and cleaned his room again.

[He took everything and put it in the laundry machine. Everything.]

Everything had to be perfect for Johnny.

*end of flashback*

He had redone the whole process again making sure his house impressed Johnny.

Even Taeyong's family was shocked at how amazing of a job Taeyong did.

Before Taeyong left for the airport, he took a shower. He couldn't smell like every disinfectant to ever be created when he went to see Johnny.

Then Taeyong took one last look at himself in the mirror before heading to the airport.

Taeyong decided to walk to the airport. Was it a bad decision? Definitely.

The airport was 31 blocks away from Taeyong's house. And that wasn't including walking even longer to get there once it was mostly just road left.

But for Johnny, it was so worth it.

Taeyong arrived at the airport about 10 minutes before Johnny's flight was supposed to land.

Waiting was honestly boring and Taeyong was so glad that his phone didn't die easily.

He watched YouTube while he waited. Watching more music videos of his soon to be sunbaenims and slowly memorizing the dances.

And frankly, he lost track of the time.

"Taeyong?" A voice said from in front of him.
