Eleven

One month later...

I clapped and cheered. Gemma had just gotten accepted into the club and took the oat. She came up next to me. I said, "Do you want to dye your hair?" 

Athine joined us and said, "Get it red please!"

I gave her a look, "She can dye her hair the way she wants to."

"Blue!" Gemma said, "I want blue and black streaks in my hair."

"Okay!" I said. Athine and I dragged her over to Lynn. 

Lynn dyed her hair and had a good conversation with her about being in the club. She was really happy with her hair. 

I left her alone to go get a drink. Wolf joined me. 

She said, "So I heard that you and Josh have a thing. Just be-"

"Be careful... I know, I am." 

She nodded, "Okay... you know... there is something off about Gemma."

"She is twelve. The youngest here I assume."

"No, like... I can't explain it. I know she just can't be trusted."

"Riiiggghhhhttttt! Because she is a sociopath with an IQ of 210." I said sarcastically.

"Oh, shut up." She said, "When I get gut feelings, you better listen." 

I looked over at Gemma. What could She be up to that Wolf has a feeling about like she can't be trusted? She was harmless!

I  woke up the next day and Gemma was gone. I shrugged and got dressed. She walked into our room as I got out of the bathroom. She jumped, "You're up early!"

"I was hoping to find you."

"Why?"

"Because Wolf wants me to teach you how to fight."

She smiled, "Okay."

"But, I couldn't find you so, tomorrow okay? As early as six in morning, we have to get up."

"Why in the morning?"

"Because, you will be woken up better. Also free time is for gathering supplies."

"What kind of supplies.?"

"Ammo, weapons, medical supplies... Most likely medical supplies." 

She nodded. 

I think she knew Wolf didn't really like her that much. Gemma was committed I know that. With Wolf that's unheard of. She might have a temper but, she's kind. She always gives people a chance. I didn't understand.

Gemma, May and I walked down the hall. We needed ammo and medical supplies.

We went to the nurses office first. We saw two guards there and we hid. May told me to go and distract the guards. She took out a Small pistol and gave it to me. Then took out two others from the other leg and her waist band. She gave one to Gemma. 

I said to May, "I can't-"

"You can! Now, go woo them. Gemma and I will sneak in and out."

Gemma asked, "How out?"
