Kristin picked herself up to clear the mess and went to her room, no tears fell from her tired eyes, and she got lucky today.
She wondered where her guardian is, she promised to help her but she is all alone.
Mrs Williams sat down next to her husband who drew her nearer for a kiss.
" Dad, Mom! " called Jessica
Mrs Williams laughed " love you darling " she told her husband.
Mr Williams smiled at his wife " love you more" he turned to Jess " Mr, why the hard face? "
Jess only shrugged, he look a lot like his father, the same attitude and Amanda wondered why he was far worse than her husband, but the love Jess has for his family is unconditional.
" dad, I want a car of my own" Jessica broke the comfortable silence.
" and why is that all of a sudden? " asked Jess which earned a glare from Jessica
" I don't want to depend only on Jess driving me to and fro school "
" but I don't mind " Jess gave her a smirk
" I do, its time for a change, I don't want him to be always hot on my trail"
There was a deep silent as their parents shared a look.

Jessica cut her mother short " no, no sweet talk to me, I know you are about to turn the table on me and I don't like it" Jessica stood up ready to leave
" you are going no where young lady " Mr Williams said angrily
Jessica held back her tears looking at her mother " mom won't you say anything? "
"baby, listen to your dad... "
" you too" the tears came on their own " am not an egg that can break anytime, all Jess does is follow me around like a lost puppy, am sick of it, he is living my life for me! "
Arms went round her and she shrugged to break free but Jess won't allow her " am so sorry Jessica, I promise to change " said Jess in a hurt tune.

Jessica turned in his arm, facing him, she hugged him, crying into his chest " promise? "
" yes" he replied
She looked up at him " you accept my friend? "
He frowned lightly but nodded
" thank you Jess, I love you "

Mr Williams smiled and hugged his wife with one hand as his wife cleaned her watery face.
" let's eat then " she declared
The two broke apart and returned to their seat, Jessica avoided her father's look including that of her mother.
" Jessica! " whinned Mrs Williams.
Jessica finally grinned at them and both parents sighted in relief.
