Chapter 11

Jessica bottom lip trembled in tears, Jess pulled her down to himself and she buried her face in his chest and cried.

" shhhhhh, its alright "

" but... " she raised her head.

" shhhhh, she said her dad needs her"

" do you think she is telling the truth? "

" yes,she is a strong girl Jessi, have a little faith in her"

" I don't like her dad, she never talks about her parents or where she lives" Jessica pulled away fully in thought. " I don't like the way things are "

" Jessi, you worry too much, you don't even know her dad"

She glared at him " at least one of us have to do the worrying" she paused " I have a feeling things is not right "

" Jessica! "

" I will trace her home one day "

Jess turned to her with a surprised face " do you think she will appreciate that? "

" I don't know, I just want her to be okay " she shrugged.
" are you bewitched? "

" what? "

" I just don't understand why you are going to this extence because of her"

Silent, Jessica was thinking over what Jess said, she shrugged again " I just love her like a sister".

" hum "

" say Monday then? "

" what? "

" Jess!,  spy things on"

During dinner on Sunday, Jessica was setting the table while Jess brought the dish in. Mr Williams just came back from a trip, he joined his family after taking a quick shower, Mrs Williams brought the last meal and served the table after a short prayer by her husband.

" so how was the trip dad? " Jess asked

" business meetings are boring " Mr Williams said

"Have been waiting for the day you will say that " business meetings are boring "" Mrs Williams said.

Her husband looked at her and laughed. He turned to Jessica who was beside him " I thought you said you were having a sleepover with your friend this weekend "

" that's right " her mother supported

" no sleepover " she murmured

" but you said she was around on Friday " her mother said confused

" well, she was here but later left on Saturday morning " Jess explained

" oh, why? " Mrs Williams turned to Jessica

" her dad called" Jess said

" oh dear" Mrs Williams said Turnig to Jessica

" don't mom, you couldn't even say hi to her, you guys are always busy, you don't even care! " snapped Jessica

"Jessica! " Mr Williams said angrily " you don't talk to your mom like that "

" really dad? " she paused " its not all about money! "

" jessi stop it" Jess said trying to calm her down

Jessica stood up throwing her napkin to the table " and you too, you annoying irritating beast, I hate you guys, you are all so protective of me that I have a lonely life and am stuck in between! "

" you are grounded young lady " Mr Williams said

" to hell with been grounded " she stormed away from the dinning room.

" Jessica come back here! " shouted Mr Williams but she left the house.

Jess heart fell, looking at his angry father to his crying mom, he decided to go after Jessica, he looked round the house but could not find her.
