THE OPPOSITE (Are we?)

Chapter 10

Mr and Mrs Williams didn't returned that day and the girls were curled up in the sitting room watching Vampire powers, with popcorn, they would scream and hold each other when they watch a scary part.
  Jess ignored them but was concern about his new friend, she was not replying any of his messages.

  After some episode, Kristin stood up" I think that's enough for the night, its time we slept "

" y...yeah" Jessica shivered in fear " Jess? "

" what's that? " he turned to them.

" can you walk us to our room? " she paused " am scared "

Jess turned off the TV set and the lights making the girls scream in fear he switched it back on

"Not the lights " Jessica whispered

" Kay, come on let's go" he led them to Jessica's room " goodnight " he gave his sister a hug " sleep tight " he left them and the girls went in.

They fall on the queen size bed and slept.
  Kristin jerked up with the sound of her message alert, she turned to the nightstand beside her and picked up her phone, it was a message from her friend.   ' hey, how are you? '

              ' are you there? '
               ' why are you not replying? '
               ' hope you are not crying? '

Kristin laughed gently.

             ' please reply me, am kinda worried '

So he was worried about her, she quickly replied him.

' hey, am fine, sorry I was busy, really am okay, thanks for caring '

He replied immediately ' really?  Sorry I woke you up'

' its no problem '

' okay, you can go back to sleep now, but I wish to hear your voice '

' em..  Thanks you, bye'

She dropped her phone and ignored his next text, she was running low on her phone and her dad won't be too happy about that, its a miracle he even alloelwed her to come for this sleepover, well she made a good excuse.
  She told him that its about a project that is to be submitted first thing on Monday morning. She laid back on the bed, no need for thinking about her messed up life now.

The next morning which was Saturday, the girls did their work, it was an eventful day for Kristin, to be free and do what ever she pleases, she got alot of messages but couldn't reply any, her cellphone rang but she ignored it, he was calling her.
  She left it in her pocket, Jessica was dancing in front of the TV, while Jess was sitting in front  of the glass balcony.
Kristin phone ran again and she brought it out and her eyes widened in fear, it was her dad calling.

" Jessica!  Please lower that " yelled Kristin, Jessica did so and Kristin quickly picked the call before it stops ringing.

' where the Fuck are you? ' her father demanded

' am sorry dad.. '

' damn you bitch, what are you planning next, I shouldn't have let you go'

' am sorry  it won't happen again I promise '

' I don't care, just get your butt back here'

' but... ' she looked at confused Jessica, thank Goodness they can't hear her father on the other end.

' am not repeating myself '

Kristin held back her tears staring at her shoes ' yes sir'.

The line went dead, Kristin did not even noticed when Jessica sat beside her, even Jess was looking concerned.

" is everything okay? " Jessica asked

" yes, its an emergency, I have to go home now "
" but... "

" it was nice being here, my... Dad needs me am sorry "
she went upstairs to pack her things from Jessica's room, she came back.

" Kristin.. "

" I have to leave Jessica, I'll see you on Monday okay? "

Jessica nodded sadly

" I'll drop you off" Jess offered

Kristin looked at him with a sad smile but shook her head. " no, thanks " she waved at Jessica and left.
Jessica went to Jess and he wrapped his hands round her, they stared at the door then to each other.
