school concert is in less than a week. probably in four days, younghyun lost count.

and at the same time, most of the students started running around, giving their assignments to their teachers who will be grading them in a while. it's nearing the end of the school year, and his dad went to the states to get his work done before christmas. which means that he will not be there for his concert.

who cares. it's a dumb ass school concert.

after all, he didn't want his dad to come because of how long he never get to see him. it's like living with the complete puzzle of his family, his dad is not a part of it. his mom and his brother is all he needs.

he even forgot what he should be writing for the concert because of the finals which will be in two days. after that, he can finally watch some anime again.

maybe.

what would be the impossible is telling him mom that his brother liked his own bestfriend. as the older brother, he would support jisung, even if he's annoying as fuck. his mom would be even more upset because...

...he's just like his little brother.

he had eyes on boys left to right, but never even once get a normal friend to friend conversation. he's a shy guy with hella tons of crushes.

younghyun remembered during spring break, he was about to tell his mom, but at that time he couldnt even breathe a second because his dad is also there. and they were fighting, the usual. this is why his dad works outside the country, to get rid of his wife. they dont want a divorce, seeing that the two kids really need them and they depend on each other.

his mom never really cared or loved her husband, so did her sons whose jobs is to go to school and back. she's a kind person, accepting, and to younghyun, shes probably the only woman that has impacted his life.

but they never talk often. just simple words like asking to buy sesame seeds for food, or taking out the trash at dawn and asking her for some pancakes. after that, she would only care for jisung whose young and... weird. overall, the only people that he actually cared about is his brother and mother. father... he'll think about that.

now onto this problem younghyun is going through. first, he would have to tell his mom, and hope that she just accepts whats going on because he means it now. he likes guys and hangs out with them more than girls that hung out at the corner of the gym, laughing and giggling looking at cute guys.

the loud sound of the bell signs that they are coming home. "finals is coming in a few days now, please study for history and english on monday, biology and chemistry for tuesday, and the rest on wednesday. keep in mind that there is no form of cheating during the test. see you next week." well, he didn't have time for practice, but maybe after the finals. all he had to do for the weekend is study. he greeted the other students as they walked out with tons of books in their hands, some took their backpacks that looked heavy and full. just a little more, then holiday. finally.

since it's the nearing the end of may, the summer started to fade and came the almost orange leafs that starts to fall to the ground, making crunching noises when kids stomp on it. he walked a little closer to his car, taking the car keys from his back pocket. before he opened the car, he saw jaehyung, walking towards the exit gate that is specially only for walkers so they would stay safe out of the driver's that rage on the large road.

I should give him a ride.

younghyun went inside his car, taking trash that lay on the passenger's seat and to the back of the car, making it look clean before pressing on the gas, and swerved so that he went to the exit gate. instead of going left towards jisung's school, he took the right, making sure that he didn't hit any student as they are walking because of his daring driving.

parking near the tall boy that had his head covered with his grey hoodie. younghyun, in his head wondered, how many stacks of hoodies does he have? as he put opened the car door. "jaehyung."

jaehyung looked his way, and scoffed. "you should go by hyung."

"sorry. I'm already used to no honorifics. anyways," younghyun gestured jaehyung to come in. "get in, you."

"I'll take the bus." jaehyung walked again, a little faster this time, but younghyun closed the door and move forward. "no, you're not. come on, as if I have a crush on you." false.

"and what do you get for this?"
"I don't know, acquaintances?"
"we are already. I'll be going."

the younger sighed and smiled, "how about friends?" "we are already."

"how about, boyfriends?" that's a brave move, brian. stop it. "I'm sorry?" "boyfriends?"

"I mean-"
"I'm sorry that I have to ask that-"
"that's fine. thanks for the ride." jaehyung showed a little smile as he walked himself to the passengers seat, putting his bag below him and guitar. younghyun blushed, showing a light tint of pink, but he realized that it happened so he covered his cheeks and rushed to drive.

the didn't say anything afterwards, but younghyun broke the silence, "where your house?"

"to the left. there should be the bus stop, you can stop there. I'll walk until my house." jaehyung looked down to his feet, then looked around to find the bus station that he mentioned. "right there."

"you sure that you can go there by yourself?" younghyun looked left and right before crossing the road to reach the bus station right next to a small bridge with a large body of water near it. maybe the bridge led him to his house. jaehyung nodded as he waited for the car to stop, opening the car door after he smiled and closed it back. younghyun should stop blushing or he'll get caught.

"you took long enough!" jisung smiled as he sat next to him in the car. "what are you waiting for?" the little boy stopped grinning and looked forward. "oh! jisung? youre here?" younghyun widened his eyes before speeding away from the school. "of course you dumb dumb! I waited for half an hour for you."

"sorry kid." younghyun ruffled jisung's dark brown hair. the younger looked at his brother surprised, "are you okay?"

"I'm fine! I'm completely fine, don't worry. just finals and I'll be free."
"that's not what I'm asking but okay. let's go to the supermarket for cheesecake." jisung smiled as he looked around for the supermarket. "please. give me a break and stop taking my lunch money."
