Woke up with my head aching. Fvck this hangover. I went to the bar last night with my cousins and grabbed some drinks. Naparami lang ang inom namin kasi itong si Ran nagpapasikat sa mga babae. I went with my cousin there to drink because I want to at least relax dahil ang dami kong problema sa trabaho ko. It's not easy being a company president.

" Fvck, lalo lang sumakit ang ulo ko." , I got up and went to freshen up in the bathroom and just when I was done the doorbell rang. Who could that be? Ang aga pa!

I am living alone in my condo unit. Nagagalit nga si mommy kasi dadalawa lang kami pero magkalayo pa kami ng bahay. I just want privacy, matanda na ako, that's it.

I checked on the peephole who's outside the door and it is my mom. I sighed. Ano na naman ba Darian Greyken?! I opened the door and found my mom standing there like the queen she is.

" Aren't you going to let your mother in?! Don't tell me may babae ka diyan?!" , nakataas ang kilay niya at naka halukipkip siya.

I shushed her. " Mom, Lower down your voice. Come in. "

We settled on the living room, we were sitting side by side on the couch. She's eyeing me like I did something wrong. " Mommy, gusto mo ng coffee? Nag-breakfast ka na ba?"

She's still staring at me and I can feel na mahaba ang sermon na makukuha ko ngayong araw. Yes, araw, she won't stop until the time she's about to sleep, magsesermon yan.

" What did you do again this time? Anak, nagre-resign si Elsa. Nahihirapan na daw siya sa stress ng trabaho. " my mom seems to be so upset.

" Mom, can we give Elsa a raise?" , I am smiling at her. Alam ko kabibigay lang namin ng raise sa sahod ng secretary ko na si Elsa. Cause yeah, it is hard to keep up with a boss like me.

" Harri, we just gave her. Mas malaki na ang sasahurin noon sa'yo next time! " Tinapik niya ng malakas ang braso ko.

" I know. But the lady you hired as her partner left without even saying anything." , I shrugged.

" Oh really Harri? kasi kahit ako ang may boss na kagaya mo, I won't last even for a day!".

" She's just weak." That secretary was actually pretty and hot. I know she's flirting with me. Pero ang dami niyang palpak, and mainitin ang ulo ko kaya kahit pasado ang appearance niya sa taste ko, inaaway ko siya.

" Weak? Okay, fine. So what are we going to do with Elsa now? Siya lang ang nakakatagal sa'yo. Aalis pa. " Tumayo si mommy at pumunta sa kitchen, tahimik lang naman ako na nag-iisip. Pagbalik niya ay may dala na siyang glass of milk and cookies. She's eating and she didn't even bother asking me if I want some.

" Any more staff that you can give me, Mom? Para hindi na mahirapan si Elsa. I know she have too much work load now. Give me one from Accounting Department. "

She looked at me after drinking some milk. "No. Mauubos na ang staff ng ibang department kaka-resign." Pinanlakihan niya pa ako ng mata. "Well, there's this applicant last time, she graduated in a standard university. I just kinda felt hindi pa siya pwede sa work kasama ka cause she never experienced having a boss. She's managing a family business."

" Then try, as if we have a choice. We have to save Elsa. She was there from the start. Ate ko na yun. " Well, there's no harm in trying. Aalis din naman ang bagong staff na yun kung hindi niya din talaga kaya.

My mom immediately called someone on her phone, probably her secretary. " Glends, Hi darling, sorry, I know it's rest day, but can you please do me a favor. Ok...., call the reserved applicant and tell her to report at the office on Monday." She chuckled. " Yes, yes, her. Start na siya. Thank you Glends. Bye."

I smile sweetly at her " Thanks Mom ", but she just rolled her eyes at me. Mataray talaga.

"Please naman anak, be kinder this time. Ang sungit-sungit mo. How are you even gonna find a wife if you are like that?" Worry is visible on her face.

I smiled naughtily at my mom, nakikita ko na naiinis naman siya. I laughed. " Mom, I'm only thirty-four, too young to settle down."

" Too young!? When I was your age, binatilyo ka na, na anak ko!" She's so pissed and I am just laughing. She stood up and slapped me with a pillow. " Pupunta na lang ako sa Auntie Dorine mo, you're gonna piss me all day here. Think my son, young no more ka na, time mo na ako bigyan ng apo."

I walked her to the door. "Sige ka, if I give you apo, magiging lola ka!", I laughed seeing her face, inis na inis na naman si mommy.

" Sira ulo! "

" Bye mom, ingat. Enjoy your day. " I kissed her cheek and waved goodbye.

I plan on sleeping all day. I need to relax. While staring at the ceiling, I thought of what my mom was saying. Wife? Her apo? I don't think so.
