"Berlin, Arturo Roman has been shot." I breathe through weighty breaths.

He jumps up from his leathered office chair quickly and grabs my hand. "Are you all right?"

"Yes, I'm fine, but you need to call Sergio to get a surgeon in here. He's bleeding out and there's only so much we can do for him." I say desperately.

"I'll ring him, but I'll let him decide what happens to the hostage." I nod at Andrés' reply and I hug him tightly. "I'm so glad it wasn't you that was shot."

"You wouldn't allow it." I smirk.

"You're quite right," He kisses my nose gently. "Are you feeling better?"

"I still feel washed out, but I reckon it's a mixture of things. Bad food, lack of sleep, stress..." I whisper and he nods understandingly.

"You know you can always come to me if you need time away from the heist." He licks his lips and begins to pull down on my zipper.

"Denver knows." I mutter letting the guilt go, but Andrés stops still. "Moscow saw the ring and thought Denver had proposed to me, so he asked him and obviously he said no, so Denver asked me and-"

"Vienna!" He growls. "How could you have been so reckless, you've been so careful up until now!"

"No, he said he won't tell anyone and he repsects our decision!" I blurt out. "It also means he's not chasing after me now."

Andrés' breathing relaxes, he doesn't have to worry about Denver's childish flirtations anymore, and for that he's thankful. "Do not let anyone else know, understand?" He spits angrily. "Not until the heist is over at least."

"I'm sorry." I whisper.

"You're forgiven," Andrés purrs wrapping his arms around me again. "the sooner we're out of here, the better it'll be for us both." I smile, understanding exactly how he feels.

"I need to go and check on the hostages anyway." I say breaking the embrace and begin to walk away.

"Vienna," He calls, making my head whip around towards him. "I love you." I smile happily, glad he said it first.

"I love you." I whisper and leave.

"We need to get her out of here!" I hear Moscow mutter and then suddenly the sound of someone being sick.

Monica...

"Denver? Moscow?" I say walking in to see Denver craddling Monica. "Hey, are you okay?" I whisper and put my cold hand on her boiling cheek.

"She's unwell, she's burning up." Denver whispers.

"We need to get the bullet out." Moscow tells me.

"We need to get her out of here, before Berlin sees." I panic and we begin the trail back to the volt.

"I heard gun shots." Monica mumbles.

"Be quiet," I hush. "Wait until we're in the volt."

"Who got shot?" She asks as Denver sets her down inside.

"It was Arturo, but he wasn't killed."

"He's okay?" She exclaims relieved.

"Yeah," Denver replies. "they'll operate and he'll be fine."

"You need to tell him I'm alive!"

"No." I hiss. "The more people that know you're alive the more likely we'll get in trouble. I'm sorry Monica, but I think we've all risked enough for you already." I say harshly.

"Denver, please." She begs him now, knowing he's more likely to cave in to her. "Give me a pen."

"Denver, no." I raise my hand at him.

"C'mon, Vi. The man's dying."

"The man wanted her to get rid of the baby! Don't give her the pen!" I shout aggressively.

Ignoring me, he hands her it and a scrap piece of paper and she begins to scribble a love letter. "Denver, you'll be the death of us!" I spit.

"Can you give him this note?" She looks to me hopefully, but I shake my head. "Denver?" She holds it out to him and with a sorrowful smile, he takes it.

"C'mon, Denver. Berlin will be wondering where we are." I hurry him along, knowing us arriving at the operation together will already look suspicious in his eyes.

"You go ahead, Vi. I'll catch you up." I don't have the time to argue, I have to see Andrés before he asks questions.

Thankfully, I only see Rio standing next to Arturo who is lying on a table. "Where's Berlin?" I ask, but see he is casually walking down the stairs with a phone in hand.

"You may talk to Laura, because wives are meant for these moments. It's very comforting, no body remembers their wife when they're clubbing, getting fucked, but when there's a problem, or you're afraid... Things change." He mutters then smiles at me. "Because wives are the only women who know every insecurity that you have."

"But you're thinking of your secretary." He laughs at Arturo now. "No, who has time to think of a lover who is about to abort your baby."

"Spare your speech!" Arturo snaps, but Andrés pulls a gun to his shoulder and drives it into his wound making the pain even more unbearable for him.

"If you say anything stupid, I'll finish you and your wife can listen to you die, got it?!" Andrés speaks with his teeth clenched, and for the first time, I'm not sorry he's torturing a hostage - Arturo deserves it.

Andrés hands Arturo the phone, and he begins speaking to his wife lovingly. I lean against Andrés, and rest my head on his shoulder, listening to the hostage. "Wives really do change a man." Andrés whispers to me. "That's why I didn't wait to propose to you. Lovers are for fucking around, but wives... Wives are the important ones, the ones that ground men. You ground me, Vienna, just like how Laura grounds Arturo. He'd have always chosen Laura over Monica." He's right, the way Arturo is talking to his wife tells me how much he loves her, and regrets his time with Monica. She'd be crushed if she was listening.

"But you chose me over Tatiana."

"Because you weren't just an affair, you are my true love." He smiles and then I notice Denver's return. Luckily, because Andrés is so engrossed in our conversation, he doesn't question his late arrival. "I can't wait to marry you, Vienna." I blush and beam a smile to him.

"I don't know what you ever saw in me, Monica..." Arturo says mistakening his wife's name. Andrés smirks. "-Laura." And he hangs up.

"You got some balls on you Arturo, your secretary's pregnant with your baby, but Laura is outside waiting for you with the kids." Andrés chuckles evilly at him. "You're surrounded by cash, man... You're a legend!" He laughs again.

"I wouldn't go that far, Berlin, I see him as a complete fucking asshole." I spit looming over Arturo who leans as far away as he can from me, threatened. Andrés and I smirk at each other, enjoying making Arturo feel uncomfortable.

"Berlin, the doctors are waiting outside." Nairobi interrupts us.

"I want Alison out of here, Rio, take her to the office." Andrés instructs. "Nairobi, take it away."

"All right! Everyone put your masks on, please!" She cheerfully calls and then opens the door once they're ready.

"Tokyo, Helsinki, Vienna with me." And together we follow Andrés back up to the phone room, where the red phone is already ringing.

Once Andrés has spoken with his brother, he puts the phone down and turns to us. "Friends, the man with the glasses is a cop." Tokyo sniggers. "I will handle it, but Tokyo, Vienna, keep an eye on him at all times to see if he does anything suspicious, understand?" We nod. "Helsinki, once I take the glasses from him, you need to insert the bug into them so the Professor can listen to their conversations outside of the Mint." He nods too, and together, we all put our masks on. "Let's go."
