"Berlin has that Ariadna doing jobs for him, and, I wouldn't normally be concerned but..." Nairobi trails off.
"But what?!" I snap at her.
"But they were holding hands, and I don't think it stops there." She mutters quietly, trying to soften the blow.
Holding hands, such a small gesture but contains so much power. It means you're showing love and care for them, wanting to touch them. Andrés' games of flirting are over, because he's taken it a step further into showing real affection for another person that isn't me. Nairobi's right, there isn't a chance in hell that he's only held her hand. The image of Andrés kissing Ariadna passionately floods me, and makes a tear escape my pooling eyes.
"I'm so sorry, Vi..." She mumbles. "He's in there with her now if you want to see him." I nod and wipe the tear away, trying not to show my broken heart to the world.
I open the door and see Andrés laughing with Ariadna, then suddenly shocked I haven't knocked, his face turns into stone and glares at me. "Vienna, how rude of you to interrupt."
"Oh I'm sorry, but from our conversation the other day, I'm sure you said if I ever needed time away from the heist this was the place to come, so here I am." I growl, hurt. "Why is this bitch taking up our air, Berlin?" I question as I sit down glaring at runty Ariadna stood next to him.
"Ariadna, will you please give us a moment?" He purrs to her and she nods, my face twitches as I see her leave, and I envision my small hands wrapped around her neck.
"What is wrong with you?!" I scream at him, leaning over the desk.
"Ariadna needed some comfort and-"
"And you gave it her by holding her hand? What will I find out next? You kissed her?" I question, but his cold face doesn't move. "You fucked her?" The words just fall from my mouth, I can't believe what I'm saying.
I hope Andrés stops my wild imagination and shuts me down immediately, but instead his eyes fall to the floor, guiltily. "No..." I whisper, feeling anger turn to sadness. "No, you wouldn't throw everything we have together... For her..."
"Andrés, please tell me it's not true." I blubber out as the tears start to fall.
"I'm so sorry, Aurora." He sighs heavily.
I burst into tears and feel my world fall apart, I sink back in the chair and hug my knees, trying to stop this explosion from hurting anymore. "No!" I wail. The pain I'm feeling can't be compared to anything I've ever felt before, not even Jack made me feel like this. Being a snitch is one thing, but being a cheat is another.
"Aurora, I only did it because she was scared!" He says as if his actions are justifiable.
I wipe my eyes with my sleeve, but can't help the heartbreak I'm feeling, my world has fallen apart and there's nothing I can do to reverse Andrés' mistakes. "You've ruined everything, Andrés..." I whisper. "Our future, shattered. Our love, demolished. All because of you and your stupid ego!" I cry louder, letting my heart bleed.
I sit down and inhale slowly. "I should've known you would do this to me," I breathe trying to calm myself. "I was warned so many times!" I laugh, knowing the signs were right in front of me, yet love blinded me. "Yet I still fell in love with you, and believed that you loved me!"
"I do love you!" Andrés roars and comes round the desk, he holds my wrists, and as much as I struggle for him to let go, his grip just gets tighter. "I did it for her, just like I'd do anything for you!"
"Bullshit, Andrés!" I hiss. "You did it for you! Was I just shit in bed? Or did you only pretend to love me so I joined this ridiculous heist?!"
"Aurora, stop..." He softly says, but instead I cry hard again.
"Get off of me." I instruct, and he does as I say. "You don't love me." I whisper and slide the diamond ring off of my finger. "You never did." And I place it on his office table.
"Aurora," He grabs my arm. "Don't do this." I shake him off of me, and grab the door handle. "Aurora!" He shouts again but I leave. My heart is in tatters, and I know this will take several months to heal. I only did this heist for me and him, my whole future created around him, and only him... Now I have nothing to live for.
Flying down the hallway to the nearest bathroom, Nairobi spots me. "Vienna, come here." She opens her arms wide noticing my sadness and I fall into them, feeling her squeeze me tightly, trying her best to fix me.
"He fucked her, Nairobi... He fucked her..." I stutter out, feeling the reality smack me hard now as I say it out loud to another person.
"That son of a bitch!" She screams. "Just wait till I put my hands on that bastard."
"No, he'll kill you." I cry.
"I don't care, because at the moment, it feels like he's left you for dead." I weep hard into her overalls and feel numb from all the emotions.
"I can't do this anymore, Nairobi. I'd rather be dead, because at least I wouldn't have to feel this pain." I bawl, but she rocks me side to side, like a mother would do to send their baby off to sleep after a scary nightmare.
"Nairobi, Vienna!" Tokyo's voice echoes down the hallway and I can hear her feet colliding with the floor as she runs towards us.
Puffed out, she leans on Nairobi's shoulder. "What's happened?" She asks.
"Berlin's just ripped her heart out, spat on it, then danced on it." Nairobi growls angrily.
"I know this is a really bad time, but some hostages are escaping and Berlin wants us." Tokyo says awkwardly. Oh great, I forgot I actually have to still work with my ex. "C'mon!" She shouts, and together we all run.
"What's going on?!" Nairobi shouts to Berlin.
"Sixteen hostages are trying to escape." He says whilst ringing the Professor, but he doesn't answer. "Let's go stop them." We load our guns and follow our leader.
Seconds later an explosion is heard below us. "Oh my God, they've blown the wall." I whisper and we continue running.
"Masks on!" Andrés shouts to us all when we see the wall is demolished. "Helsinki, Denver, cover the hole, now! Hurry!" And with that order, the boys scurry to cover the outside world with a metal sheet. The police begin shooting furiously at them, and eventually hit Helsinki who falls to the floor in pain.
"Helsinki!" Nairobi screams and together we all shoot back at the police as she tries to reach him.
The sound of shots are overwhelming and my emotions from 10 minutes ago have swung. I'm scared, and I fear the lives of the gang - even Andrés'. But I'm also angry that sixteen hostages have escaped. "That smoke is going to blind us, Moscow get it out! Everyone fire!" The orders come thick and fast, and I have to concentrate otherwise I'll be killed.
"Cover me!" Tokyo screams and moves away from the door. "Get out of the way!" She screams and pushes the machine gun forward, she quickly starts firing it and the noise is agonising but her fast reactions have worked as we can finally get the metal door up.
"It's sealed!" Moscow announces, and I collapse on the floor from the tiredness.
Tokyo joins me on the floor, and she holds my hand.
"I need help!" Helsinki yells, and the group runs towards him.
As we turn the corner, giant Oslo is lying on the floor in a pool of blood. "Is he dead?" I ask as Andrés leans down to check this pulse.
"He's alive, we need to move him though, quickly!" Andrés orders, and together all the boys pick him up and carry him back to the phone room where we'll try to save his life.
