When Jay and I got back to the house, my brothers were all standing in a group and looking more than a little angry. They didn't seem to be angry at me, however.

"Raven we're going to have a family meeting," Sky announced and then looked at Jay and glared.

Jay took a step back from Sky with a hand motion that said he was backing off.

My brothers and I then followed Sky out the front of the house and down the street, towards the town just little ways, but still in the forest enough that no humans would find us and our friends back up at the house wouldn't hear us. When Sky decided that we were in a safe enough place, he put a force field around us to really ensure that no one would hear us.

Nicholas looked around with wonder in his eyes as Charles then put an illusion around the force field so that if anyone looked here they would only see the forest and not us. This was pretty amazing. I know we trained together to use our abilities but that was always for combat and not to hide from our parents.

This was a whole different level that we could have used to our advantage for so many different shenanigans.

"What did mom talk to you about?" Sky asked Nicholas first. We needed to see how much he knew before adding in information that maybe he wasn't ready to hear.

Nicholas looked at the ground nervously. "Mom said that she was moving into town with her soul mate so she can see me finish school and get my wings and my gifts. But she doesn't want to upset Raven and dad with her soul mate."

All of my brothers then looked at me, a little weary. I frowned, "why would I want to live with someone who kidnapped me?"

They all gave me a look saying they understood my through process and then tried to continue on the family meeting with civility.

Hunter sighed, "so how does everyone feel about this."

I opened my mouth and then Hunter and Sky gave me a dirty look and I snapped it shut again. This was brother time not annoying Raven who always gets what she wants because she's the only girl time.

Matt shrugged, "what I really want to know is are you guys going off to college in a far off place."

Sky, Hunter, and Charles seemed to share a small thought between the two of them that said they had this conversation many times already.

"Hunter and I have been taking online classes for a couple of years now," Sky admitted out loud. "I'm almost finished, so I would like to attend my graduation, but Hunter..."

Sky had trailed off as if waiting for Hunter to finish with his thoughts. Hunter reluctantly continued, "when I finish my first year I would like to go to school because I have hands-on projects I would love to do in the classrooms."

Charles then cleared his throat, "I've been applying in various places around the world, but I haven't heard anything yet."

My brothers were thinking about their futures and it was away from our family and not Legion related. Granted, flying around with magical abilities for all humans to see is a big no-no, but doing something to help humans in need would really be where we are useful.

"What are you guys taking?" I finally asked out loud. I was genuinely curious because, after Charles leaves, I'll be the next to abandon everyone to go to University if that's really what I want to do. Maybe it would be the right thing to do, but right now I'm not really feeling it.

"I'm majoring in phycology," Sky said simply. "I think I want to be a social worker or therapist. There are still a few things I need to take before I get fully there though."
