Stronger than the Boys {1}

Chapter Twelve - Scream Your Way Out

My brain was pounding against my skull and I couldn't quite open my eyes yet. Although I don't think I wanted to because the smell of wet dog and decaying flesh was as bad as it was in the forest. My head was slung back over a chair that I was indeed tied to. It was a very uncomfortable position for me to be in but I couldn't find it in myself to move. There was voices but they seemed too far off to do any damage to me att he moment. So right now I was just trying to wake myself up enough to know what was happening around me.

I must have sat there for a good half hour until I realized that the strusture I was in was swaying. Is the wind really that bad in China? It was another 45 minutes until I heard a boat horn go off above me. Oh, so they put me on a boat? For the next 20 minutes I tried to lift my head up so that I could look for a way out of this dump. My stomach was so empty by now that I could literally feel pain from it trying to make something to substitute for food.

Even just some water or gum would be amazing right now. I finally managed to lift my head up and realize that there really was nothing in the room I was in. There was a metal door across from me and that was it. There wasn't even a rat or spider. I took in a deep breath before using my strength and breaking the rope that was tied around my wrists.

A few more deep breaths and I tore the ones that were around my feet. Thank god for super strength. With the help of the chair I stood myself up and slowly made my way to the door. Somehow I managed to get that open. These wolves were really stupid weren't they. Well I guess I didn't mention to them that I had super strength, so that's my advantage right now.

I slowly tried to tiptoe towards this smell of food. It was faint, but it was there. If I could just get that and then I would be out of here. I heard the talking of guards from around the corner that I had to go. What to do? Scream? But that would let everyone know that I'm out. I don't have the energy to punch them so I guess I'm going to have to scream.

I came casually walking down the hallway like I wasn't even trying to hide and they saw me. Three really tall dudes with weapons. I waved at them and they started to charge at me. When they were almost at me I took in a deep breath and let out the most high pitch scream I could muster. The clutched their ears before falling to the ground. After a few more seconds they literally stopped moving. Oh my gosh, I just killed three guys. For real this time.

Don't cry you idiot, you were trained to do this. 

But I can't. Its jus so sad.

No, its not. These feelings are a result of the lack of food.

Crap, I need to get moving. I quickly hopped over the bodys and ran as best I could still folowing the food sent that was getting stronger and stronger. Just a little bit more. And here is a door. Wow, that rymed. Shut up Raven. Door, a door, what to do with this door? "She's this way!" I heard someone yell.

Meh, might as well kick it in. There was a huge smash sound and the door was laying on the ground. Thank god there was only a human in the room. I smiled at the man who looked like a chef and ran over to the food table that he was preparing. I grabbed one of the sandwhiches and literally swallowed it whole. After scarfing down a few other items my stomach felt good and maybe now I cold teleport home. I closed my eyes then opened them but nothing happened. The chef dude was starting to panic so I guess I'm going to have to fly home.

I ran out of the room and down the hallway the oposite way I came. There was stairs so I ran up them and soon heard footsteps behind me. Faster Raven faster. They were catching up to me as I smashed open the door at the top and ran out into the cold air that was the top of the ship. Finally. Freedom.

I ran to the other side and looked around. Where was I? "I wouldn't do that," A creepy voice said from behind me.

I slowly turned around and saw the guy shaking his finger at me. Hey, he's the one who smashed my head into the ground earlier. Screw him. "You might fall over the side of the boat if you lean too far," He started walking closer to me. I stiffined.

There was about 20 wolves behind him but more just kept coming up. "You my little Legion are stupid if you think you can get away from me." What he can't see right now is that the food is starting to work and I am getting my powers back. A few more minutes and I can teleport out of here.

I smirked at him, "And how do you know that I can't?"

He didn't smile just yet, but I could tell that he was going to. "Because in your atempt to leave, we figured out what your gifts are. That wasn't very smart of you."

I let out a laugh and almost fell to the ground because I was laughing so hard. He wasn't smiling anymore, nor did he want to. He was actually quite angry. "Dude," I smiled at him. "I didn't show you everything."

And, que time where I disapear away from their sights as they all jump towards me. That was how you go out with a bang.
