The Drama Club - A Oneus Fanfiction

Act 10

Eri and Keonhee were both walking towards their club meeting.

"So, about the important thing you wanted to talk about after recess" Eri started.

"Ah, when you weren't present at the club meeting yesterday. We were discussing on a competition that we entered" Keonhee answered.

He continued "It's the Light Us drama competition". Eri once heard about the competition but she was never into it.

The Light Us drama competition is the biggest drama competition for high schools, it's held annually. To Eri, it sounded like a normal competition but sometimes agencies will cast students that entered.

This competition become the greatest opportunity for those who wanted to become a star. Though it sounds interesting but Eri couldn't care less about it, she's never into drama they show on television. Much more becoming a star.

Last year, this school got 2nd place in the competition and it was lead by Kim Youngjo. This year, the competition is different.

Instead of performing on stage, they need to make a 5 episode drama. Each episode 30 minutes. They have around 5 months before the drama they made will be sent to the judges.

Exam is coming close and now they have a competition? And to think this is going to be the last club meeting for this month so the students will focus more on their studies, Eri was kinda thankful and worried.

They arrived at the hall and saw the members were gathering in a circle. They both sat down and the meeting started. Mrs. Rin wasn't here so it's up to Xion to conduct the meeting, again.

Eri looked behind Xion and saw a whiteboard with all kind of roles written on it. They haven't chose the roles yet.

"Since today will be our last meeting for this month, we will only be assigning the roles" Xion started while pointing at the whiteboard.

"Um, I think there's a person that doesn't know what we're doing" Yoora glared at Eri, smirking.

"Thanks for your concern, Yoora but Keonhee already filled up the details for me" Eri fired back with an innocent smile. The club went silent with her reply, some holding back their laugh.

Yoora was shocked and flustered. Keonhee who was beside Eri showed a thumbs up to her.

After a long discussion about assigning the roles, the only roles that haven't been assign was the art director.

"I can be the art director" Renjun raised his hand. Since he joined, Eri also raised her hand "I will too!".

Both of them looked at each other and smirked. They can do this, they got partnered up many times during art club.

"Don't you want to be the actor?" Yoora asked mockingly to Eri.

Thi girl can't get enough. "I'm sorry, I would rather work behind the scene or do you want to take my place?" Eri scoffed.

Yoora's anger was boiling. "How dare she?!" Yoora thought.

The actors will be the remaining members that haven't assigned roles and the members agreed. Yoora and Jaemin were one of those, she was really happy and her anger towards Eri faded away.

"It's getting late, we will stop the meeting here. We can still discuss about this in the groupchat.. I'm hoping you can give all the cooperation in this drama" Xion as our producer said.

"Since we can talk about the drama we will be making in the groupchat, I'm sure we can start shooting the 1st episode next month" Mia voiced out, she's the director for this.

Keonhee became the music supervisor. Chenle took the editor role with a boy named Lee Felix. Meanwhile, Irene assigned the screenwriter role with Songyee.

Eri walked back home with Keonhee. "You know, Jun rarely walks with us ever since the club meetings started" Eri started.

Keonhee sighed "she maybe busy with her dance club, it's her passion but other members of the club also went home the same time as us today".

Keonhee then started a conversation about Yoora and clapped for Eri burning Yoora infront of people.

Eri laughed nervously "I had enough".

They came across the neighbourhood playground and saw 2 figures playing with the swings. Keonhee squinted his eyes to see Hwanwoong with Jun.

Keonhee patted Eri's shoulder and pointed at the both of them. "Are they dating?" he asked.

Eri looked at where Keonhee was pointing and went wide-eyed "I don't know, should we interrupt?".

Hwanwoong and Jun were laughing. Eri felt her heart ache for some reason, seeing the both of them having fun.

Eri grabbed Keonhee's hand and dragged him away from the playful scene. "Eri?" Keonhee almost tripped when she suddenly dragged him.

"You okay?" Keonhee halted causing Eri to stagger.

"I- I don't know.. Suddenly, my heart aches watching them" She admitted.

"Are you jealous?" Keonhee asked.

Eri nodded, ashamed. Then Keonhee hugged her and asked who.

She replied, softly "Hwanwoong". She felt stupid, Hwanwoong will never steal Jun from her. Maybe because Jun and Hwanwoong seems to be closer than ever now. She felt a bit lost with the fact that their close.

Jun has been with her since their were small and Eri was scared of losing Jun, her first bestfriend.

They were like sisters..

"Let's go back home" Eri said with a sad smile.
