The Drama Club - A Oneus Fanfiction

Act 21

"So Yoora's good now?" Keonhee asked as they're on the way to the drama club.

Eri nodded enthusiastically, "She will changed bit by bit.. Don't worry!"

"Guess we have to start over with her" Keonhee sighed and smiled.

They both entered the club and saw everybody was at their places. Renjun suddenly came towards Eri and dragged her outside, she bid goodbye to Keonhee.

"Hey, Renjun! Where are we going?!" She asked, losing her balance.

"To the office, get some keys and we're off!" Renjun fasten his pace and Eri had a hard time catching up to him and she was tailing behind.

Renjun unlocked the door and opened it wide. The door lead them to the rooftop of the school. It was a forbidden area during afterschool but to make the final scene of their drama beautiful, Renjun planned ahead. Eri whined as he didn't discussed with her first but she looked around.

The sky was painted orange and the breeze makes it two times better. They were waiting for the others to come by, Eri loved the scenery up on the rooftop. She knew the final scene will be heartfelt, a perfect place and time to confess your love.

She blushed at the thought. She wished to confess to him during this hour but doesn't have the courage to do so. She sat beside Renjun on a bench.

"Renjun.. What if I confess right now?"

Renjun was shocked by the sudden question and his face was red "W-what?!"

"N-no! What I mean- Nevermind. I can't confess for goodness sake" Eri sighed.

"Someone got your heart eh?" Renjun teased her, lifting his eyebrows.

Eri felt her cheeks grew hotter and lightly slapped Renjun at the shoulders. Renjun laughed at her, and looked up in the sky.

"If you love that person so much, just do it.. If they break your heart, I will come at them and smack the life out of them" Renjun grinned widely.

Eri chuckled, "Thanks.. I also can't believe we're on our last scene huh"
Renjun hummed in response.

The sudden thought made Eri upset, she never knew she would enjoy in the drama club. She was grateful for getting kicked into it, she met amazing people and Xion. She even helped Yoora in some way or another, she was proud of how far she come.

Soon, the others arrived with the equipments. They soon set it up and Eri watched as Yoora was focusely reading her script with Jaemin. Eri noticed Yoora was helping Jaemin with it by giving him some advices.

Through out the whole shooting of their film, Yoora was a really great actor along with Jaemin. Eri thought maybe they will have a chance in the entertainment industry and make it big.

Eri felt someone stood beside her and looked at him. "Xion.." she smiled at him.

"Yoora did changed huh?" He looked at the interaction Eri was watching fondly.

"Mhm" Eri nodded. She turn her glance at Xion's hand, she wanted to hold it but restrain herself as it might ended up being awkward.

The words Renjun gave her flashed im her mind and she accidentally squealed, making Xion instantly looking at her with a question on his face. Eri turned as red as a tomato, "Haha, I need to help Renjun with something.." and fled the scene.

She didn't went to Renjun, instead she went to Keonhee who was sitting on the floor and he was on his headphone. She quickly sat beside him and put her head on his shoulder, shutting her eyes tightly. One word playing in her head like a broken record "embarrassing."

Keonhee looked at her with an eyebrow raised and looked at Xion helping with the set up, he had the expression that Keonhee could only described as 'hurt'. Keonhee sighed and cupped Eri's face gently.

"Ya, Eri. Shouldn't you be helping Renjun?"

"I am but I got caught up by looking at Yoora and suddenly I thought of something and I squealed like a weasel and embarrassed myself" She explained very fast and ended with a groan. "Stupidity at it's finest" and face palmed herself.

Keonhee patted her shoulders and noticed Xion looking at their interaction. Xion quickly turned away, making Keonhee giggled.

"You should-"

"Alright, in your places people!" Mia called out loud. Cutting of Keonhee, Eri stood up and waved goodbye at him, skipping towards Renjun to see the whole shot.

Jaemin and Yoora ran upstairs together while holding hands, giggling as if it's the time of their life. They were running away from detention. Bursting through the door and panted when they reached the top.

They were smiling at each other and catching their breath. They stood face to face, a bit sweaty from the long running.

"I can't believe we actually did that.. We're so gonna get two times the punishment" Jaemin chuckled.

"Gotta enjoy before our year ends" Yoora took a deep breath and shrugged.

Jaemin gently grabbed Yoora's hand, "Yoora.. I've been wanting to tell you for a long time and after you saved me, it actually confirmed it"

Yoora looked at him with anticipation.

"I like you!" He confessed, tighten the grip a little.

Jaemin actually looked as if he was really confessing to Yoora, Eri felt immersed in their performance.

Yoora didn't said anything, she immediately hugged Jaemin.

"I- I like you too" She choked a little bit, her eyes brimming with tears.

And as the camera zoomed out from the both of them, showing a beautiful scenery. Yoora and Jaemin hugging, a beautiful sunset behind them.

"And.. Cut!"

Everybody awed at the performance. Some female student teared up a little, Keonhee wasn't an exception. Eri rubbed Keonhee's back to comfort him, he pouted.

"I guess that was only a one take.. Right, Xion?" Mia nudged him.

Xion was snapped back into reality "W-what.. Oh, right.." he sheepishly smiled. Mia raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

Everybody was cleaning up their equipments and Eri helped around. Suddenly someone clapped their hands, gaining everybody's attention.

"I have something to say.. Thank you all for your cooperation on this film" Xion bowed, Mia followed along.

"Thank you all very much.. After a few days, we will have the final product of our film! Be proud of yourself!" Mia continued his speech.

Everybody gave a round of applaud for themselves and each other.

"Let's hope for the best and win gold for this competition." Xion ended his talk with a smile and everybody cheered. Eri loved looking at the boy's smile, her heart beating faster.

After a few month of production, they finally finished shooting their film. Of course, they couldn't wait for the final piece. Everybody went home with a proud smile plastered on their faces. They felt good getting to take-part in such a big project.

Keonhee, Eri and Xion walked back home together. Xion didn't said anything, he was only listening to the other two's conversation. He felt something bad in his heart watching the two of them laughing. He wanted to say something but told himself next time. Don't want to spoil the mood.

And he wasn't the only one.
