"Even though it's been a day after Xion got slapped by Mrs. Rin, I still can't forget about it" Renjun said as he pasted the stickynote onto Yoora's bedroom wall. Eri, who was beside him nodded along. She was worried as right after the meeting yesterday, Xion already left.
"Are you guys done yet?" Yoora asked with annoyance as she entered her bedroom, she screeched at the sight. Her precious wall, once full of picture frames now replaced with stupid dream stickynotes.
Renjun rolled his eyes and replied "please don't overreact, we have to do this to make the scene believable".
Yoora huffed and sat on her bed, looking at them working. She looked at Eri and thought to play with her. Eri was on the ladder, sticking the notes at the top part of the wall.
Yoora came close and shook the ladder causing Eri to yelp in shock. Both Renjun and Eri groaned in frustration. Yoora whistled and pretended to not know anything.
"If you do that again, we're not going to finish this thing" Eri stepped down from the ladder and glared at her. Eri then went to the plastic bag full of sticknotes and grabbed some.
Yoora seemed to be unbothered by her threat. Suddenly, she heard the sound of a car engine stopping infront of her house. She quickly exited the room gleefully.
Eri and Renjun watched as the door closed and shook their head. "what are we going to do with her" a deep sigh escaped from Renjun's mouth. Eri shrugged and climbed the ladder, continuing her work.
An hour had passed, Eri and Renjun took a few steps back and looked at their masterpiece. The wall now was filled with scattering sticknotes. They high-fived each other and said "good job".
They both packed up their stuff and head to the stairs that leads downstairs. "Y-" Eri was about call her but instead got her mouth covered by Renjun's hand and he stopped her in her tracks. They were still on the second level.
Renjun put his index finger on his lips. Eri tilted her head in confusion and Renjun pointed downstairs, they saw two shadows.
"But mother, are you proud of me?" it sounded like Yoora and she sounded happy.
"Proud? What accomplishments you did should I be proud of?" the mother said in a very arrogant matter.
"That I got to play as the female lead in the drama.." Yoora said but her tone was dissapointment, it was like she expected something.
"That's all.. Why can't you be like your sister?" the mother sighed and continued "your grades are average, your popular because of what? Your looks only. And you're expecting me to be proud that you got the female lead in some petty drama?"
"B-but mother, I am not her" Yoora sounded like she was going to cry any second.
"So? If your sister can do it, you can too" Her mother seems like she doesn't care about her. A cry was heard, Yoora ran upstairs and went straight to her bedroom. Slamming the door causing Eri and Renjun jumped a little.
"Let's go" Eri shook Renjun's shoulder. Renjun nodded and they went downstairs. They were greeted by Yoora's mother.
Mrs. Rin.
"What do we have here? You must the one that decorated her room for your film.. Would you like to have tea?" she offered them with a sweet smile. It's hard to believe she was the same person.
After what happened with Xion yesterday and Yoora just now, there was no doubt they were pretty scared of her.
"It's okay, Mrs. Rin. We're heading back now. Don't want our parents to worry" Renjun took into action and bowed, Eri followed along.
"Ah really? Well, have a safe journey" She escort them to the door.
Once they were out, they released their breath. The whole conversation with her made them nervous and held their breath. Renjun and Eri walked together back home.
"That explains why they have the same surname" Renjun said.
An idea popped up in Eri's head. "Remember what she said yesterday, she have reasons entering our quote on quote petty club" Renjun nodded and she continued.
"what if that's the reasons cause I heard the previous club teacher doesn't want Yoora to be in and when Mrs. Rin took over, Yoora got in" Eri expressed.
"Maybe.." Renjun looked deep into thoughts. Eri scratched her hair and sighed.
"I feel bad hearing for their conversation but still, I didn't know Yoora was going through this" Eri looked down and Renjun agreed.
"Me too, Eri.. Looks like there's a reason why she acted the way she is in school"
...
Eri sat in the living room, watching a movie with her parents. She couldn't help but to think about Yoora's situation. Eri doesn't have any siblings so she doesn't know the feeling being compared by her own parents.
Her parents noticed her behaviour and immediately asked if something was wrong. Eri wanted to explain Yoora's situation but she thought, that it was too personal. But she answered them with a question.
"Mom, dad.. What if I have siblings. Would you compare their achievements to mine?"
Her parents looked at each other, bewildered. Where have she gotten such ideas?
"Sweetie, why would we compare? Every child has their own specialties and achievements. It will affect the child's mind if they were being compared.. Also, why with the sudden question?" Her mom asked, concerned by the question.
"nothing, just a friend at school going through this" Eri answered and leaned back at the sofa, lazily. Her father who sat beside her cuddled her. Eri's mood lighten up, feeling the warm love.
