Clicking my fingers, we teleported back to my humble abode to her surprise. As soon as the teleportation occurred, she glared at me, as if jealous I possibly possessed more power than her.

Lilith was already waiting in the lounge area and so took a seat on the plush sofa, looking a tad disturbed with the girl's existence. I released her from the impenetrable prison as she fell on the floor; dusting herself off, she reluctantly took a seat on the sofa opposite Lilith and I.

'Let's start with introductions, shall we?' I tried to create a somewhat friendly atmosphere, 'I'm Lucifer, King of Hell.'

'Lilith, Queen of Hell.'

'I-I'm Y/N.' She tried to sound confident but her voice was shaky, she probably didn't expect us to be royalty.

'Well, I have a proposal for you..' Y/N glanced at me with a suspicious look, one eyebrow quirking upwards, 'we adopt you and you will live under our protection-'

'Who says I need protecting?' She interrupted me as Lilith shot her a look, which she returned at the same harsh degree.

I attempted to make peace, 'you don't, it's.. we think you would be a useful addition to our family.'

'What's in it for me?' Y/N questioned, interested in the proposition.

'Isn't it obvious? You get to be our 'adopted' daughter, in a way, and no body will dare to touch you, you'll essentially reign supreme with us, not against us.' Lilith answered.

Y/N mulled over the proposal for a second, her scowl turning into a lighthearted smile.
'I mean I like power.. and a family,'

I extended my hand as she shook it with enthusiasm.
'Sure do I, Princess of Hell.'

Far in the distance, an exterminator shifted through the rubble it was buried under, taking a deep breath when it broke through the thick wreckage. It rested its hand on a piece of rubbish on top of the pile as it examined its wounds, a gaping hole in its chest were she stabbed its chest.

'Oh, my daughter, you've become a monster.'
