This was it.

Unlocking the cabinet next to my desk, I handled the weapon gingerly, the blade was drenched in the liquid, almost corroding the unknown metal.

I was going to end Cherri.

Filtering through the numerous cabinets in my mansion, I discovered a large bag, big enough to quite comfortably accommodate a snake demon. Recruiting help from over a dozen egg bois, we managed, or rather I, to wrestle the body of my brother into the bag. It was obvious the egg bois had their doubts, their puny faces filled with sorrow and hesitation, but I had no regard for their opinion on the matter.

She was going to pay.

I made my way, with rather questionable rounds of transport to an area that Cherri owned. We were far overdue for a good ol' turf war. And I can't wait for it. Yelling at the egg bois to get a move on, I slithered on to the abandoned warehouse, the walls of which were crumbling and vines engulfed the sorrowful building - this was perfect.

She was going to suffer.

As I opened the door, I was greeted with the unpleasant scent of an old building, dust wafting into my line of sight. In the corner of my eye, I saw a bright pink mess of hair, she was following me.

I grinned.

Exactly where I wanted her.

Slithering across the soiled and downtrodden ground, I was quickly followed by my hoard of egg bois that were carrying Y/N. I sighed at their weak attempts, hoisting the bag around my shoulder, relieving the egg bois of the duty. Suddenly, there was a shuffle at the opening of the door, a skid against the debris littered floor.

Egg bois turned to the source of the noise, simultaneously gasping at the inevitable cyclops demon at the door.
'What have you got there, Edgelord?'

Cherri walked to the bag that I casually laid at my feet, I prodded it with the tip of my tail, causing the body in the bag to shift shape.

'Oh, nothing important.. to me at least.' I murmured, my lips curling into an alluring but fiendish grin. She looked on, her usually confident demeanour faltering with the way I was acting.

Signalling to a nearby egg boi with vain confidence, he nodded slowly as he unzipped the bag as per my request. Y/N rolled out in plain sight to Cherri, his eyes were still closed, although you could see his chest was rising and falling in regular intervals.

Cherri's hands immediately flew to her face, the change of atmosphere was deathly prevalent. Tears started to form in her eyes, threatening to spill down her face in large unchecked drops. She wiped her eyes hastily as her eyebrow furrowed in rage.

'What did you do?' Her voice cracked with emotion while she rushed forwards to aid to her dear Y/N.

From some obscure pocket in my attire, I fished out the weapon I fetched earlier. I bared the knife with the unmistakable liquid on it, directly stopping Cherri from racing towards me any faster.

It was almost hilarious how quickly she stopped, her mouth open slightly agape at what I revealed:

'I wouldn't recommend stepping any further, young lady. Your little fiancé is merely sedated.'

Cherri seemed to temporarily recover from her flabbergasted state, 'how did you get an exterminator knife?!'

'I have my ways, darling. A little assassin. A little exterminator. And now, a little exterminator knife.' I grazed the tip of my finger along the blade, 'I've been waiting an age to use this Cherri, I really have, a single stab certifies a demon's cease of existence... but you already know that.'

I lounged about the area, frantically observing her actions: the quick pace of her breathing and the sweat beads on her forehead.

'I needed to use this weapon on something worthwhile, and I think I might have found it.'

Grabbing the back of Y/N's neck, I forced his head backwards, his legs bucked in a kneeling position. I placed the knife against his neck, the cold metal barely touching his pale skin.

'H-He's your brother, Pentious!' Cherri pleaded, realising the seriousness of the situation.

I laughed, a sardonic cackle rising from my chest. This was ridiculous. Cherri, the one demon that jeered and mocked me all these years, now cowering before me because I held another demon hostage?

That's where she fucked up. She loved another.

'He may be my brother, but I hate every inch of him. He betrayed me.'

'I can just break him. A small price to pay for satisfaction all these decades. You have no idea how crazy I've gone trying to exterminate you.'

'Well, it's finally going to pay off.'

I slipped the elaborate engagement ring off his finger, letting it fall to the floor in defeat.

'It's a shame you never got married.'

Before the knife was plunged into his chest.
