Days have passed, Teacher treated me worse after spilling tea on her.
Today is the day when I'll attend a tea party with my sister.
Although, I'll be a maid.
They don't want to spend an expensive dress on me, so i'll be attending as a maid.At the tea party
"Abela, come here." Querdia calls me.
Querdia is my older sister, she has dark brown hair with blue eyes. She was wearing a light pink dress with beautiful accessories.
"Pour us some tea." She orders
I pour them tea, but someone pushed me and I spill tea on Querdia.
The rest of the ladies start laughing, and Querdia was filled with Anger.
At home
Father slaps me, saying "You dare embarrass your own sister? Have you got no shame?"
Again.. this is like my past life.
My mother screaming at me, scolding me over my mistakes."You're shameless! You are not even listening!" He shouts and grabs my neck, lifting me.
No..this..
Like before..
Stop it..
I recall the day of my death...the tighter father's grip was, the more I remembered.
"If you repeat this again, I won't let you live." He lets go and I fall on the floor.
I cough and tears start falling.
"My lady, stand up, please.." a maid suddenly speaks.
Idella..?
I look at the maid and see Idella worried. I hug her and start sobbing.
She carries me to my room and sits me down on my bed.
"This is nothing but..." She says and brings a muffin out.
"Happy Birthday Abela!" She smiles at me.
What a birthday... I grab the Muffin and thank Idella.
"My lady, I will not see you for awhile." She sadly says.
"Why?" I say while I eat my muffin.
It was difficult to swallow since the Earl's grip was hard.
"I will get married" she smiles at me.
I hug her "congratulations!"
"Thank you My Lady. Please stay strong." She hugs me one last time and leaves.
I stop eating my muffin..and I bursted out in tears.
Worst birthday...but the first birthday that I celebrated.
Whenever it was this time of the year, my parents always let me be alone. Even Ibella couldn't greet me.
I..will survive.
For you Ibella.
3 years later
I'm 5 years old now. It still feels surreal.
"My lady, it's time for you to eat." The maid says.
I nod, and head down to eat some leftover food...or not.
I see everyone at the table and a plate with decent food.
"Come sit here." Mother says coldly.
I hesitantly sit, and quietly eat my meal.
"This will me the only time Abela eats with us, I just have an announcement." The Earl says glaring at me.
Still, I eat quietly.
"In a few days the Empire will host a festival for nobles. Everyone is required to attend with their families. I wish to go without that thing (Abela) but, everyone knows I have a second daughter." Father explains
"If that is all, Abela stop eating and go back." Querdia gives an order.
To avoid a slap, I stand up quietly and go to my room.
I jump on the bed hitting the pillows.
What the heck? I wasn't even finished eating! That darn woman!
I stop hitting
A festival...Why do I have a good feeling about this?
