"Wake up my lady." A dim voice speaks

It's so early in the morning? Why do I hear Teacher's voice?

I slowly open my eyes to see Teacher standing in Anger.

"My lady! Wake up. You will get punished if you stay in bed." Again, with her cold tone.

I get up and rub my eyes, asking
"Where's Idella?"

"You no longer have maids my lady." Teacher replies

My eyes widen, and before I could say anything else,

"Get up my lady, you must practice your bow and reading." She helps me off the bed.

An hour later, after getting a few whips, I finally had the perfect bow.

"Now my Lady, please read the book I've prepared over there, after an hour, I will ask you some questions." She says, then leaves the room.

I sit down on the wooden chair and open this red book that has some gold in it.

The Imperial family, and the Archduke's family, for decades have been gifted with spirit animals. Nobles have a low chance of receiving a blessing from the spirits, and gaining a spirit animal, but it is not impossible.

For decades, spirit animals were one of the main reasons the empire has various victories during war.

After awhile

The Door opens

"It's time for me to ask you questions My lady." Teacher announces.

Teacher asked me questions that weren't even on the book.. So I got scolded and whipped.

"You're quite stupid, I will return in a few days so study by then." She angrily says and slams the door.

Sigh, I drop on my bed.

I've experienced this much pain in my past life but I still can't get used to it.

It's still traumatizing, and painful.

The next day

"My lady, it's time for your meal." A random maid wakes me up.

I nod, and go downstairs with her.

I sit down on the table alone, and my plate was disgusting.

Leftovers, that's my meal.

Various types of food that mixed together. It wouldn't be that bad..
Is what I thought.

I take a bite and it's as disgusting as ever. It's not only leftovers but
days old leftovers.

I had to suck in my pride since I haven't eaten for days.

This is worse than my past life.

I finish my meal and head upstairs to read books.

Two swords are represented as truce, and swordsmanship. For generations, Archduke's way of combat is through swords. They vowed to protect the Imperial family, til' the last of them died.

Three-headed Dragon, and a crown.
Also known as the Imperial families crest. The Imperial families have always been blessed with the dragon's spirit.

The crown represents the Imperial family, and their vows to make their country a safe place.

A few days later

"My lady, have you studied?"
Teacher asks

"Yes." I hesitantly speak

These few days, I practiced writing and Speaking. I stayed up late, which is no problem, in my past life I always stayed up late studying.

"Alright let's begin today's lessons." She prepares her whip.

A few hours pass, I got some answers wrong, but I got hit less today.

"Let's practice pouring tea." Teacher says while preparing the tea pot.

She helps me grab the handle and teaches me to hold the lid. I spilled some out of the cup, but fortunately she didn't notice.

She then taught me how to drink properly, spilling some, she also didn't notice.

I cleaned up, after her orders, but then I tripped and spilled tea on Teacher.

"UGH! YOU CLUMSY BRAT!" She screams

Just when I thought I'd survive today.

Teacher stands up and slaps me.
After, she leaves without saying anything.

I clean the dirty floor with my skirt and I go lay down.

As I look up on my ceiling, tears fall down.

...save me.
