The day of departure arrived.
Abela was packing her clothes, and so was Keith and Kai.
Abela wore a long sleeved blouse with a red vest buttoned together.
She wore black tights, as she wore black boots with her hair tied in a messy bun.
And wore her leather baldric on her waist, that had a sword placed to it.
She wore the red thin bracelet Keith gave her.
As she got her backpack, she went out of her room.
She went down and Ajax was there waiting for her.
Ajax wore a white polo tucked in black shorts, added with brown suspenders.
They were outside the manor, waiting for the rest since they were quite early.
Horses were standing there, as Ajax and Abela were alone.
"Master, how are you doing? I haven't had a decent chat with you for awhile." Ajax says.
Abela smiled and replied, "Thank you Ajax, I have been alright, things have just been quite messy."
"Ah! You have a fiancee now...But you seem to be always flustered when we talk about it. Didn't you have to get married fast, even in your past life?" Ajax asked.
Abela scoffed and said,
"No way, in my past life you had to wait years before you could propose. This is very new to me."
"Well, I heard that you and the prince had a long relationship. If it weren't for these hectic situations, you two would have been married a long time ago." Ajax suddenly said.
Making Abela's eyes widen, and getting dizzy.
"We're here!" Keith said sprinting to them.
Aegeus, Kai, and Odeda had arrived aswell.
Keith and Kai wore comfy polos that they could comfortably fight in. They wore dark boots, and dark pants.
And they also wore baldrics that had a sword attached to it.
Aegeus wore a simple black tunic with matching pants, while Odeda also wore a dark blouse with dark tights.
"Before you kids go!" Duchess Frida rushed to them with her big belly.
"Be careful mom! You might trip!" Abela said.
"Before you kids go, take these with you." She handed a bag of crackers to her children.
"What is this?" Kai asked.
"They are crackers that I made earlier this morning. Eat them during your trip. And, also... You kids may come back when your little brother is born. Your father said that you kids should name him." Duchess Frida says.
"Hm...Noah?" Kai suggested.
Duchess Frida shook her head.
"How about Ben?" Abela said.
Duchess Frida shook her head again.
"How about we mix those two names...Nolen?" Keith said
As Duchess Frida's eyes widen and she smiled, "Alright, you kids should hurry back and meet Nolen."
As they all hugged their mother.
They all go on their own horses, and wave goodbye to Duchess Frida, and they leave.
...
They all travel ahead, as Abela was beside Kai and Keith.
Abela was riding on Geoff, she remembered from before, as this horse felt comfortable in her presence.
She asked Kai "Where's dad?"
"They left first, because they had to deal with some stuff. He's probably waiting with The prince and imperial knights...right over there." Kai said
As they approach a ton people on horses, including the Archduke, and the Crown prince.
Boman, Wyatt, and Liam waved from afar.
There was also open carriages for things to set up in camp.
As they stop infront of them Robin winks at Abela which gave her goosebumps.
'This guy- we haven't seen eachother for days and this is how-' Abela felt flustered.
"Ewww you two- " Keith teased as he saw what just happened.
The Archduke did not hear what Keith said, and announced, "This trip will take awhile, and we won't make any stops. So, bear yourselves."
He turned, and everyone followed.
Robin directed his horse so he can ride beside Abela.
"Why are you so Embarrassed?" Robin said to Abela who was avoiding eye contact.
"Nothing...don't mind me." Abela said.
Abela clenched her hand on Geoff's sadle, she was completely flustered, her heart was thumping rapidly and her palms were sweaty.
Robin felt bad, he thought she hated him.
He felt paranoid, did he propose too late? Too soon? He furrowed his eyebrows with his negative thoughts.
Their travels went on quietly.
Abela didn't talk at all, and just ate some of her mother's crackers through out the trip.
...
After hours of travelling, they reach the area to camp, they were somewhere near a huge desert, somewhere they can avoid destroying any natural surroundings.
Some of the men set up tents, while some started the fire.
They placed simple wooden logs as chairs, and created a place for the horses to stay in.
After a few more hours of set up, the sun had already set.
It was already evening, and their only source of light was fire, and some simple lamps.
They prepared a marvelous feast.
There was all sorts of big meats, and food.
Abela felt really uncomfortable being silent for that trip, as her fianceè didn't even ask once what was wrong.
Abela and Kai walk together, after they place their bags on their tents.
Abela had her tent with Odeda since they are female, and other female knights shared in a different tent.
Kai shared his tent with Keith, Ajax, and Aegeus.
While the rest had their own set up.
Kai and Abela approached the table, and it was completely covered by men with big builds. They were huge. They all gobbled up the food like it was nothing.
"Hey hey hey! The kids are here!" Chamberlain says.
As the huge men move aside, and Abela and Kai hesitantly sit down.
They all return to their chattering, and eating.
Abela whispered "Aren't you used to these types of people? Why are you so flustered?"
Kai whispered back, "Yes, but I can't get used to it."
They slightly chuckle as they eat.
...
Midnight had came around, some of the knights had went and rest on their tents, while some stayed out to guard.
Abela couldn't sleep a wink, so she went out covering herself with a shawl and sitting on the log placed around the camp fire.
She looked at the blazing heat, as lost in her empty thoughts.
Til' someone sat beside her.
