...just what the heck is going on?!

The huge eagle looked at me and nodded.

The eagle just nodded?!

"Young miss do you know who this is?" Sir Vincent asks glaring at the eagle.

I shook my head.

How would I even know an eagle?!

This eagle is not normal, it's 10x bigger than a normal eagle!

I stare at the eagle confused.

"Hey kid, how did you get here? You're not supposed to be here....unless?" Sir Vincent talked to the eagle.

The eagle nodded at what Sir Vincent just said.

Surprised, he looked at me.

"Didn't you know Young miss?" He asked

"Know what...?" I ask absolutely confused

"You have the blessing of the almighty eagle!" He said out loud

Almighty...eagle? Blessing..? Why would I..?

"I mean, any noble has the possibility to have a blessing of a spirit animal, but an eagle...just how..?" He explained, but he was also confused.

Everyone is confused rightnow. But that eagle is just chilling there.

"Why is it impossible to receive a blessing from the eagle?" I ask.

"Oh, you didn't know huh?" Sir Vincent suddenly stopped

The eagle then flew away.

"Ah right, breakfast." He said, as we rush to the dining room.

"I'll tell you later, for now, go tell master you want me to teach you okay? That way we can figure out why you have the eagle spirit." He said as we stopped at the dining room.

Sir Vincent bowed, and left.

"You're late" father said.

I bow, and walk to the vacant seat next to mother.

"My apologies father, I didn't notice the time, so I was late." I finished off while getting on the cushioned chair.

"It's alright, you seem pale, are you sick?" He asked making everyone look at me

That's because there was a huge eagle in the garden!!!

Pressured, I say "O-oh, no, I'm not sick don't worry." I smile.

Everyone looked relieved and continued eating.

"Father..." I quietly say, making him look at me.

"Can I ask for something?" I hesitantly say.

He stares at me, probably telling me to say it.

"Can sir Vincent be my tutor? I-If it's too much to ask it's okay.." I ask him

He looked confused at first, then it seemed like he made a conclusion and he said "Okay." That short answer made me feel less nervous.

"Thank you! I will work hard!" I smile at him.

At the study room

I sit down in a table that is placed beside a big window. Sir Vincent sits infront of me and there are a bunch of books in the table.

Our surroundings are full of book shelves and some maps.

"Young miss, should we start?" He asks.

Me, being very curious, nods.

"You can't find information about this in the current books, but there was this fallen empire...Empire Gryfon.

You see, the Imperial family's crest was an eagle and two snakes. It is self explanatory that the fallen empire had the eagle spirit by their side.

It was a good Empire. They were perfect, the kingdoms they ruled was successful, the people were happy, and the eagle spirit is especially strong. Unfortunately, when the emperor passed away, the crown prince took advantage of his eagle spirit, and abused his power.

Then, rebellion happened, a man from the Redmond family killed the emperor, along side with the Ortiz family. Empire Gyrfon had fallen, and Emperor Redmond, the current Emperor was announced ruler, along side with the Ortiz who served as the Archduke. They established this current empire, Nox Singuis." He finished off.

I stared at him blankly...

A fallen empire...? What exactly is going on..?

He spoke again "And, coincidentally, you have been blessed with the royal eagle and you didn't know? Then that would mean two things, it's either...
You are a lost child from the fallen empire, or...you were given a second chance in life?"

Oh...that's it. That's why. Definitely that's why...a second chance in life...

"I..uh.." I didn't know how to tell him that I was reincarnated... remembering my past life...

"It's the second option isn't it?" He said, making me look at him nervously.

He continued, "It's okay, so this is your second life huh? No wonder why you seem mature...how was your past life?" He asked

I hesitantly told him my past life...

"It was no different from my current life. I lived in a different place, with more advanced technology. I was also abused by my family, and my dad was delusional. I was murdered by my sister when I was 19." I finished off.

He silently looked at me.

"It must've been hard, to live like that twice." He said in a painful tone.

I gave a slight smile, and turned silent..

"Are you okay? Why did you become quiet all of a sudden?" He asked with a worried tone.

"Sometimes, you gotta stay silent. Because no words can explain..the crap that goes through my head."
I said looking at the table.

We both didn't speak for a few moments.

"Why don't we check out your eagle spirit? It must've been surprising but, the Archduke will find out soon." He breaks the silence.

I nod.

The two of us quietly walked back to the garden with the small river where we met the eagle spirit.

We arrived faster than I thought..

"Well, you should call him." He said looking at me.

"Uh...Mister Eagle? Can you come out!" I said loudly.

Then the wind blew faster, and the grass was moving. I heard wings flapping again, and the huge eagle spirit landed on the grass again.

"Mister is not appropriate for someone like him..." Sir Vincent said.

"Oh! Sorry, was it rude?" I ask.

Sir Vincent shook his head and said,

"No, that's because..." He gets cut off when the eagle spirit released white particles

And slowly transformed into...
a small kid?!
