The d-day of the baby
"Honey!!!" Duchess Frida shouted.
The Archduke rushed to her as she was lying down.
Duchess Frida pulled the blankets out, exposing blood and water all over the bed.
She groaned, as pained worsened.
"He's coming!!!" She shouted.
He panicked, "Let me get a doctor!" He rushed out.
While going to Vincent and ordering him to call the imperial doctors, he called in everyone.
Now that everyone was in the room..
"Mom are you okay?" Kai asked.
She groaned "Do I look okay?"
Kai got scared.
"She's giving birth rightnow, do you think she'd be okay?" Abela said.
"I wouldn't know what to ask a woman when she's in labor."
They argue.
She suddenly groaned "urgh! Kids, it's not the time to argue."
The Archduke kneeled beside her, holding her hand.
Duchess Frida's grip tightened, making the Archduke flinch "Ah!"
The two kids were blank, as this was the first time they saw a woman go in labor.
"So uhm..are we going to have to watch this?" Abela asked.
"No, it'd be best if you close your eyes." The Archduke said.
"AHH! where the hell is that doctor?!" Duchess Frida screamed.
The Doors slammed open, revealing the Imperial doctor and a few assistants.
They immediately go to the Duchess and surround her.
"We'll go outside now.." Abela said dragging Kai outside leaving them inside.
...
Kai and Abela had been anxiously waiting for the baby. It had been more than an hour.
All they had been was shouting, and the word "Push!"
The door opened, with an assistant saying "You may enter."
Making way for them.
Abela and Kai hesitantly enter the room. With a sound of a crying baby.
Duchess Frida was sitting up holding the newborn baby.
The Archduke was staring at the baby in tears.
Abela and Kai go near them.
"Meet your new brother Nolen." Duchess Frida sniffles, looking at the baby.
"Keith would have loved him." Kai said.
As everyone gave a sad smile.
"Come here Abela." Duchess Frida said.
As Abela slowly approached the crying baby.
The baby suddenly stopped crying, and reached out his hand.
Abela gave her finger, and Nolen gripped it.
He suddenly gave a bright smile, and a baby laugh.
Surprising Abela, as she returned with a warm smile.
It was Kai's turn, and the baby got scared at first, but Nolen eventually gave a warm smile to his older brother.
