Ah, am I going to get scolded..?

A few moments of silent went by...

Mother suddenly bursted laughing.

"Hahahah! Did you see her face? She looked so flustered!" She laughed.

Though it was really funny...should mother be laughing right now?

"...are you okay mommy?" I ask

She stayed silent for awhile, and gave a smile.

"Did you do it on purpose?" She asks.

I nod.

"I'm sorry, I will never do it again.."

She chuckles and says "no, you did well.

You see, there are many people who don't like your mommy. Because your father is a valuable person. They think mommy is a bad person for loving daddy."

Awe, she tried to explain it so a 5 year old can understand...

I should play along...

"But mommy is a good person!"

She smiles and holds my hand.

"Thank you sweetheart."

A few days later

I hear knocking on the door, and it slightly opened to reveal Ajax.

"Master, a letter has arrived."  He scurries to me and gives the letter with two hands.

It had a seal ive never seen before.
I open the letter and the folded paper.

"Dear Lady Abela,

How have you been? Ever since your motivation during the tea party, I always cheered my mom up! I learned some skills when it comes to the sword. Daddy taught me!

By the way, I thought you were really cool when you threw those beetles on the Viscountess. Don't worry, no one else saw, but I saw you purposely tripping it was quite hilarious.

I hope to learn from you soon.

And I'd also like to have a cup with tea with you!

Sincerely, your friend Lenore."

So she knew...

I'd also would want to meet her...but when?

"Master, your birthday is coming up in a few days." Ajax suddenly says.

"I see, get me a pen, paper, and envelope. Also a seal would be great." I order him.

He nods and sprints out.

I should let her meet me after my birthday. Everyone would be busy because the crown prince will also be celebrating.

I should act normal so no one would remember it's my birthday.

Even if they said they would rather celebrate it, their reputation matters more than a stupid birthday.

...

Ajax arrives with a handful off stuff and placed it on the table.

I thank Ajax, and begin writing...

"Dear Lenore,

I'm doing very well, thank you for asking. I'm happy that my words helped you and your mother.

Lately, I've also been practicing my sword skills. I've been learning lots of things these few days.
