Everyone bowed deeply as they all sat down.

Abela, Hena, and Lenore sat beside eachother.

Unfortunately, Abela was seated beside the Empress who sat in the middle.

To add up to that, Tori...sat infront of her.

"Ah, ladies, you may begin." Empress Dowager said

Abela quietly sipped her tea.

"My, are you alright Abela? I heard you got kidnapped not long ago?" Empress Dowager asked.

Abela placed her cup down looking at Tori.

"Ah yes, it was quite scary. I still have wounds to heal." She said, then looks at the Empress.

'She seems polite...?' The Empress thought.

The Empress continuously buttered up to the other nobles til...

"Your majesty, I heard Abela is joining the war..? Isn't that a disgrace as a female noble?" She mocked.

'it's as if she's not even hiding it anymore. I guess we're doing this now.' Abela thought.

"Well, not like it's a disgrace. There are many female warriors who have gotten great achievements over the generations. I think Lady Abela is quite brave to have decided to do so." The Empress said.

'what's her deal? Is she trying to gain something?' Abela contemplated.

"Ah, you're right." Tori said flustered.

The tea table was cleared, and was replaced by embroidery material.

A butler soon came up the the Empress and whispered something.

"Ladies, please excuse me for a moment, you can continue doing your
Embroidery. I will be right back." She stood up and left.

Abela fixed her plain handkerchief, and started embroidering.

The Ladies suddenly started laughing.

"Yeah, the prince adores me!" Tori said.

"I agree!" A noble said.

Abela quietly whispered to Hena
"Who are those?"

Hena whispered back "Those are Tori's minions...Lady Jaedah and Lady Trixie."

Abela got weirded out by how much those two minions got fooled by Tori.

"Ah, you see. Prince Robin dislikes tomboys. Just like lady Abela over there." Tori laughs.

So does Jaedah and Trixie.

Abela ignored their words as she kept embroidering.

"I mean, she's not even suitable to become a warrior...to think she came back wounded from a kidnapping?" She said.

Making Abela snap.

"I'm being quiet here..." Abela spoke.

Which gets their attentions.

She continues,
"Don't disturb me with your negative crap. If you don't like me, that's your problem."

"Excuse me?!" Tori stands up.

"Ladies! Is there a problem?" The Empress returns.

"Your majesty! Lady Abela here is being rude. She is a bully!" Tori cries.

"Is this true?" The Empress sits down and glares at Abela.

Abela...cried.

"No your majesty. I was only trying to stand up for myself and Lady Tori was making it worse. I'm already trying to heal from the wounds...yet.."
