Day of the ball
The day of the royal ball held for the Knights who will be going to war.
Every knight must bring a partner to the ball.
Abela sat infront of the mirror, preparing herself, as she is attending as a warrior, and a partner.
Her hair was tied in a low bun with braids on the side, she wore pearl earrings, and a small necklace with a pearl pendant, and as usual, she will always wear the thin red bracelet.
Her dress was a long beautiful light gray gown, that was off shoulders with a ribbon on the back.
She wore simple makeup, as it would clash with her outfit if she over did it.
While being prepared, Abela had many thoughts, she was fascinated with this tradition.
The Archduke had brought Duchess Frida when they were still dating. And Abela thought it was romantic.
She finished of, and there was a knock on the door.
Abela turned to it and the door opened to reveal Robin, wearing a light gray polo that was slightly unbuttoned on the top, as he wore a light gray suit coat over it.
He wore matching slacks. He also had a huge cape which was decorated with gold accessories.
His hair was pulled back, as he entered the room.
"Are you done?" He asked.
Abela was confused with his outfit, "Did you plan on matching today?" She asked.
He smirked, and said "There's a good reason for that."
"What is it?" Abela asked.
"Walk with me at the garden, we still have some time left." Robin said.
As Abela carried her bottom dress to prevent her from falling.
She lets go once she stood up and she approaches Robin.
They both head to the garden.
"I haven't seen you yesterday, what have you been doing?" Abela asked as they walked through the garden.
"Well.." Robin paused as they reach the small gazebo in the center of the garden, and the lights were off, making it really dark.
They stood inside, right in the center facing eachother.
"Close your eyes." Robin said.
As Abela hesitantly closed her eyes.
Robin raised his hand slightly...signalling to...Ajax who was hiding with Ryuu on the side.
"Open your eyes." Robin said.
As Abela opened her eyes to see the whole garden brightly lit with fairy lights.
Robin looked especially stunning that night Abela was surprised.
"Surprise!" He smiled.
"And you did this for what?" Abela asked.
"Why not?" Robin replied.
"Why?" She asked again.
"Why not??" Robin repeated.
"Why though..." She asked one last time.
He suddenly tensed up, and he hesitantly held Abela's hands.
"Well, you know that war is approaching...and I'm crown prince..and the heir...so I'm lacking something.." his glance looks away.
Abela chuckled "Are you asking me to marry you?"
