"It's over," Lysandra said, her voice soft as she watched the Valg army fell and went limp, her voice in awe ", It's truly over."
Whoops of cries of victory hollered all the way to where they were standing in a sea of fallen Valg, blood crusting them both as their army patted each other on the backs, bickering as they picked up their weapon and started to travel back to the mountain camps.
Aedion whirled towards her, laughing wildly as he wrapped his arms around her waist, supporting her lower back as he lifted her into the air, twirling her in the air. Lysandra laughed as her hair flew around her head, her laughter breathless, tears of joy slipping out.
"We did it," Aedion whispered, pressing his forehead against hers.
Lysandra breathed in his scent, of spring grass and a clear brook, wrapping herself within it as he held on to his neck. "We did," she replied softly.

Nesta and Manon embraced, quickly but efficiently as the two women drew back to look at each other. Manon battered and bloodied, Nesta disheveled and tired.
"Glad to see you're alive," Nesta said wryly.
"Likewise," Manon said, quirking a brow ", Amren?"
"Holed up in Velaris already," Nesta replied, a small smile on her lips.
Their eyes met, shining with a joyous gleam. "We'll keep in touch, Amren too."
Nesta only smirked ", Of course, Rhysand could rip the skies whenever."
They both grinned at that, it was a new feeling, Manon had never thought to feel such comfort with any other than the Thirteen, but. . .people were entitled to move on, not forget, but simply remember and carry on.
"Leaving already?" they heard a familiar voice, whirring to see Amren, the tiny monster, striding for them.
"Aren't you supposed to me in Velaris?"
Amren shrugged, offering no answer. Her gray eyes slid to Manon and Nesta, something inside them burned, a different fire from what she used to carry. "What a team we make," Amren said quietly.
They grinned at one another, the setting sun making their eyes shine with an animalistic gleam, their grins nothing but slashes of white.

"A Queen who went into battle while being four months pregnant," Feyre remarked, glancing at Aelin's baby bump.
"I have many titles," Aelin said, smirking ", One more would do no harm."
"Indeed," Mor said.
"I'll be heading home soon," Aelin said, eyes distant ", It would be a shame not to have your company around sometimes."
Mor grinned mischievously ", We'll make sure to visit."
"And bring loads of snacks," Feyre piped.
"We're going to eat ourselves fat," Aelin said, sighing contently.

"An honor," Aedion said, bowing slightly to the Illyrians ", to fight by your sides, gentlemen."
Cassian grinned widely ", An us, you. We should do this more often, it gets boring around here."
Azriel offered a small smile, bowing his head.
"You will always be welcome in Terrasen," Rowan said.
"A place in Adarlan shall always be ready for your arrival," Dorian quipped.
"Do we have to," Lorcan grumbled.
"Don't be an ass," chided Elide from the doorway.
Lorcan stumbled at the curse Elide said.
They snickered.
Lorcan only scowled.

Elain smiled as she watched her friends and families rejoiced, their whoops and laughter could be heard as they get themselves drunk on wine, devouring meals as if they had never eaten in their lives. She felt a shadow at her back and knew who it was before even turning her head.
"Hey Az," she said, smiling widely ", They're giving you a headache already?"
The shadowsinger gave her a small smile in return ", You have no idea."
She chuckled, even as she started to fiddle with her fingers, not knowing what to do with them.
It was silence between them for a while before Azriel quickly whispered, as if not trusting himself to turn on his decision ", I'm glad you're okay and safe, Elain."
Something in her fluttered at the sound of her name on his lips but she replied, genuine concern in her voice ", I worry about you too, Az."

(more manorian, sorry not sorry)
Manon slumped onto their bed in the palace of Orythn, only having arrived several hours ago, they barely had the energy to travel back to their kingdoms this quickly. Abraxos was snoring soundly on the roof of the palace.
He looked at his newly engaged fiancé, her white hair spilling from her braid, spreading around her head, her face beautiful in sleep. She had changed into another set of leathers upon traveling back.
The charm he'd given her, a sterling chain with a dangling round-cut sapphire, had been hooked to her belt, the light shining on the silver. He'd been shocked at the sight of her using it than she'd had narrowed her eyes in suspicion, he'd simply smirked, though even that had been shaky.
Manon peered her golden eyes at him, sensing his attention as he plopped down next to her. "What is it?" she snapped, annoyed at being disturbed in sleep. He smirked at her annoyance but proceeded to brush a lock of hair from her face.
The witch froze and glared at him as she made herself sit up, crossing her legs and arms, waiting with a quirked brow. Dorian fished something out of the pocket of his pants, a small black velvet box.
Manon's eyes narrowed, the gold molten with curiosity. Dorian only smiled lazily when opened the box to reveal a thin band of silver that consisted of two thinner bands weaving together tightly, the center loose enough to support a small and secure sapphire.
Manon's lips parted, her eyes wide, a burning fire in them.
Dorian straightened, wincing at the pain that still remained at his back and stomach even after Yrene's impeccable healing skills. "Just to make it official," he said, grinning widely and brightly.
The witch queen stayed silent, though she didn't fight him when he slid the engagement ring smoothly onto her finger. "I will never hear the end of this from Bronwen and Petrah," she muttered at last.
"And I will never hear the last of it from Chaol and Yrene," Dorian offered.
"This..," Manon started, looking at him ", This will be a long process. To unite our kingdoms that is."
He wrapped her arms around her, tugging her close, pressing his cheek on the top of her head. "I won't mind," he whispered.
