Prologue Pt.1

Y/N's POV:
Hi! My name is Y/N! Let me introduce you to my family! First there's my mom, Anne. She s a very kind and caring person despite what she's been through. Then there's my brother Jax. He's a goofball. He's only two years older than me actually. Anyways there's a big thing happening today.  Today I'm moving to O'khasis! My mother's friend had suggested moving here and she accepted. I am five years old by the way.
As we drove I'm sitting in my seat looking out the window. I hope I can make some new friends here. In my old town Navara (that's not actually real I made it up lol) the kids bullied me a lot and I never made any friends. Sometimes i would come home with cuts and bruises. My mother Anne was always there for me. As for my father no. He had left when I was just born because he didn't want me. But it's okay because me, my mom and brother are perfectly content without him. I do wonder who he was at times. Anyways, we have just arrived to our new home. It was a bit big. It was two stories with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. I guess the rooms are big.

I got out of the car and we went inside to look around. "Wow! It's so big!" I said admiring the place. Jax nodded in agreement. My mother was still outside doing who knows what. She was gonna get her friend to help us because we were too young to take boxes. I took my backpack that I had though. I went up to the room my mom led me into and put my bag in the closet. I went downstairs to find a woman with black hair and teal eyes.

"Oh! You must be Y/N!" She said squishing my cheeks. I giggled and she gave me a smile as she kept talking with my mom. Then three little boys walked inside. One had blonde hair and blue ocean eyes, the other had black hair, and one blue eye while his black hair covered the other. He also wore a mask. The other boy had brown hair and green eyes.

Oh Y/N! These are my boys! Garroth, Zane, and Vylad!" She said pointing to them. They waved and I returned the gesture with a smile. "Well you kids go to the park and play while me and your mother set up in here." My mom said. Jax was outside waiting.

We walked to the park talking a little and when we got there we played with each other. One of the boys grew on me in particular. Garroth. He was so nice to me. Zane was very mean and Vylad was nice too.

"Ya know how we get to find out who our soulmates are when we turn 14?" Garroth asked as we sat on the swings together.
"Yeah?" I replied.

"I'm just curious about who mine will be." He shrugged.

"Me too!" I smiled. He smiled as well and we kept talking. Mostly about my life back in Narvan. He was 6 years old and I was only 5. I'm in kindergarten but he's in first grade. We are going to the same school together which is nice. Jax and Vylad are also having a good time together which is cool. Me and Garroth have become friends really quick.

I laid in bed and thought about today. It went better than expected honestly. I hope I'll have a good time living here.
