Naina POV

Agastya has been acting really weird lately. He looks at me like he is up with some mischief like something is cooking inside his brain. Like something is up to his sleeve.

He walks in with a grin on his face, he whistles every now and then. When I go to him with some important information or to get his signature on some important documents he looks at me with a weird smirk on his face.

I got an email from him after a week of his weirdness, he asked me to meet me at the conference room for an important conversation for which he did not turn up himself. I just wish everything will be okay because whatever the serious conversation is about it shouldn't be as worse as I imagine. 

Recently I have heard a lot of rumors about people getting sacked from different departments. I just wish I am not part of this because the truth to be said I love my job and the benefits it offers.

Agastya POV

It is going to be so much fun messing with Naina

Is she going to agree?

Well let's just say my plan works because if not I am in a deep mess so I would need help

First I would have to meet Kristie, I have to talk to her and sort it out because if I have her help and support, Naina could be more persuaded into this.

I took a day off to meet Kristie

As soon as Kristie saw me in front of her door she engulfed me into a warm motherly hug. I know then that maybe things could be easy. 

Kristie: Hey Agastya it is so nice to see you, you know I keep telling Naina to bring you next time she comes to meet me but she always ignores that she says you are a busy man

Agastya: Well I am a busy man but not for amazing women like you. If you really wanted to see me you could have just let me know, I would have visited you even before

Kristie: That is okay Handsome, now tell me why are you here, you seem to have come here for a very important purpose

Agastya: Yes Kristie, I really do need your help, I have been having a lot of sleepless nights on this

Kirstie: What is it, honey?

Agastya: It's about Naina

Kristie: What about her?

Agastya: I would like to get married to her

Kristie: What? Oh my god, you want to get married to her, I knew it !! I know you both are made for each other. I know you love her ...

Agastya: Kristie, No !!

What I mean is I like her, I really do like her. As much as I have known her I would like to get married to her. She is a wonderful woman

Kristie: So you don't love her?

Agastya: No, but I do like her and I will keep her happy and I am pretty sure she would be a light in my darkness

Kristie: How can you be sure you will keep her happy

Agastya: Yes I will keep her happy because I care about her. As much as I have come to know her, I want to bring happiness and joy into her life. It's not because I am sympathizing with her but because I know she can keep me happy. She is sweet, caring, considerate, generous, and ambitious. Most of all she knows me like the back of her hand.

Kristie: Promise you will not hurt her?

Agastya: I will not, I will do everything to not hurt her. I dunno how much of a good husband I will be but I will be good to her

Kristie: Can I trust you?

Agastya: Do you want to?

Kristie: Does she know you want to marry her?

Agastya: Nope, but I am planning to ask

Kristie: She is going to give you a hard time

Agastya: I know, I need your help, please

Kristie: You have my blessings
