Prologue

I was waiting ....

Waiting for a few hours now in anticipation...

Agastya is pretty late today. Its past 11 pm and yet there is no show from him .... God Agastya !! Do you always have to be late ?? 

I have a question for all the guys out there ... When guys can be so punctual while attending board meetings or going to a foot ball game then what's up with most of them running late for dates planned by their own wife 

I look at myself considering to change from this black evening gown which Agastya has gifted me last weekend  to my regular pyjamas but I wanted to see his reaction when im in this dress ... when I tell him the news ...

Agastya 

The one person who I would never have believed that he would be someone who I would get married too. I guess that is indeed a true saying when people say opposites attract and sparks fly when we least want them.

I lay back on the couch waiting for Agastya when I hear the calling bell in front I shuffle out of the comfort of the couch and walk to the door to open it. He was right here though he looked really tired , he still looks handsome. He gives me a tired smile when he sees me and gives me a slight peck on my cheek when he walks in. While he is putting his laptop bag in the cupboard and having a shower, I quickly heat up the dinner and light the candles. I guess he finally notices the decorated table and me wearing the dress he gifted. His face lights up after which he hugs me while complimenting my efforts and sits down to have dinner. He is casually talking about his day while im freaking out on how to tell him the news. My hands started sweating and my heart thumps faster.

I lightly take his name and he looks at me. He notices me biting my lips and he knows I have to tell him something. 

Agastya I am Pregnant !!

I tell it out in one breath and wait for his reaction. His face etched with a frown and the silver clatter loudly when it drops down the table. He gives me an accusatory glare and got up from the table his chair made a sound on the marble and he started walking long strides in to the bedroom. 

Agastya !! 

I shout his name and he stops walking but doesnt turn back. 

Arnt you going to say anything ??

He turns back , I expect him to say anything a little assurance , Ill take it. An explanation for his behaviour I will listen to it .... 

He walks up to me and cups my face in his hands 

Whats the date today sweetie ?

March 4th why ? 

I am confused with his behaviour ... what is he hinting at ??

A year ago we entered into this little agreement which ends today because you broke some rules

I looked at him shocked, I cannot believe he is saying that. After one year of all the memories we made. After one year of me falling in love ....

I asked him a question and the answer he gave shook me to the core

What are the broken rules you are talking about ???

My voice a little bit high then usual after looking at his indifference

Sweetie you broke two rules 

1) You got emotionally involved

2) You got pregnant 

These are the big rule breakers for me. Ill give you a week to move out oh you can keep that dress, it looks cute on you, as everything I buy during the agreement for you is yours so your welcome !!

While he was walking away I couldnt stop myself from saying this out loud 

Your such a jerk Agastya !!

He gave me a smirk and left to our room , I am sorry 'his' room

This is not my home

This is just a house I lived for an year and im thrown out when the lease is up and I have a week to vacate this place. I collapse on the couch where I was resting a while ago though I stop myself I couldnt help shedding some tears when I rest my palm on my stomach.
