Naina POV

In the warm light of the fairy lights and the cool breeze on my face, it felt amazing being over here on his private terrace. We put away the bowls after we had our dinner and then we settled again with apple juices in champagne glasses and pickle jar which I had right next to me. After I had a glass of apple juice I settled for enjoying the tangy and salty taste of cucumber pickles while Agastya was looking at me with amusement while I already finished four of them.

Now we were in middle of 20 questions

Agastya: What is your favorite color?

Me: Depends on my mood but anything light like light purple, light blue, light yellow oh I do like burgundy color though. What about you?

Agastya: Black, Grey, and White ... What is your favorite cuisine?

Me: Mexican, and Chinese but any day I would like homemade Indian food and mashed potatoes with butter (American food) What do you like?

Agastya: Anything healthy...but I do like the vegetable fries and flavored rice cooked in Indian style with all those herbs and spices. Are you fitness consciousness?

Me: Well what do you think about looking at me? Do I like it or not?

Agastya: Well looking at you I can't predict because obviously you have a gifted height and don't mind me saying this but curves on you look like those are sculptures so I can never tell because you look like you hit the gym.

Me: Well thank you for the compliments and no offense taken. It's all the gift of genetics. I try to watch the quantity of what I am eating and I do walk in the evenings after work with music but let me tell you I hate working out. I prefer walking with music and sometimes yoga when I am in the mood. You look like a person who loves working out.

Agastya: Yep, I love working out. Being an Indian I would like to indulge in delicious parathas, hot biryanis, and pulao once in a while so I work out to burn out the calories I ate that day. I work out depending on my free time but I try to work out at least thrice a week. I go for cycling on the apartment campus on weekends.

Me: What does your work out comprise of?

Agastya: I do a lot of stretching, running on a treadmill while reading a book or listening to music, I do weights every now and then. I also do yoga to keep myself calm. Oh, I cycle, do push-ups and play basketball with some guys or jog in the apartment grounds to compensate for missing a week of the gym. It all depends on my mood, my schedule, my food intake, and stress levels.

Me: Oh my god you are a complete fitness freak but tell me something if we do get married and I don't work out and gain few pounds every now and then would you force me to work out or would you stop you know appreciating me or being this attracted as you are right now?

Agastya: Well following fitness regime is one's own preference. If you are working out on your own because you like it that is good or else you can stay fit naturally if you want to or if it fits you. As long as you are healthy and you are happy I don't think I will be forcing you to workout. I enjoy it so I workout if you don't then there is no need for you to have to do it. 

Me: Okay but would you still be attracted?

Agastya: Hmm ... let me think 

Me: Douche see I knew it 

Agastya: Come on I was just messing with you. Of course, there is no guarantee that everyone will stay the same. I am attracted to how you look yes, but I am also attracted to your character and personality. If you feel like working out and you don't find the motivation we could do together like go for a jog or a walk together. If you don't feel like doing it then I am not going to judge you. Oh, by the way, hope you take no offense but if we get married there will be lots of working out we do inside the bedroom so I don't think you will have a problem with your weight.

Me: Agastya !! Pervert seriously is that the only thing going on in your mind?

Agastya: Come on that is the truth you are very beautiful inside out and I would like to worship that in every way possible. You cant call me a pervert when that is what every couple does. I am just being honest Naina. Just know that you are an attractive, compassionate, and gorgeous human being and I appreciate it. It's not just about the physical attraction Naina, trust me I have been physically attracted to many but you are different it is not physical attraction anymore it is like a need to even have you around for your kindness, compassion, and sarcasm which keeps me in line. How do I say this? You kinda make me happy and I would like to keep you happy, satisfied, and comfortable. You deserve everything which this world can offer you.

I know maybe calling him a pervert was not a good move but his explanation filled me with a sense of warmth in all of me, my body, and soul. I didn't want to offend him and I thought I was stating the truth but the truth was he was always a gentleman though he flirts here and there. Yes, he does gestures which surprises me but I let him do it too like that day on the couch. If I would have stopped him then maybe he would not have forced me. I called him a pervert then but what am I? I am a hypocrite because I myself have a dirty mind fantasizing and dreaming about him at night and act like he does not affect me in the day.

We both were calm for a while sitting beside each other absorbing our conversations and thoughts. Maybe I could be impulsive this one time or maybe with him, I would any day. I laid my head on his shoulder and pulled his hand putting both of my hands around his. He looked at me surprised and his 5 o clock shadow tickled me on my cheek. I just pushed his face to look straight and not at me because if he does his 5 o clock shadow tickling me on my cheeks would leave goosebumps on my body and if he really looked at me deeply I would end up breaking my resolve to kiss him.

Me: Come on !! Don't look at me like that, this is allowed

Agastya: Okay mam

He had a smirk on his face now he laid his one foot on my stretched out legs and put his free hand around me pulling me close

Agastya: I think I am liking this vanilla dating too... You are smart to propose this vanilla dating idea 

Me: Didn't you know it before?

Agastya: Nope 

He said it with such a straight face that I playfully slapped him on his hand. 

Agastya: You are the smartest, gorgeous and sexy human being I have ever seen

Me: You sure? What about those girls who used to stop by your office?

Agastya: Those were distractions, you are my long term goal

He kissed me on the cheek after he said that

Me: Ishh.... such a cheesy line

Agastya: It was lame isn't it?

Me: You can do a lot better

He laughed out loud for that and pulled me more closer if that was even possible and I just laid there with lots of peace I failed to achieve until today.
