Ellias Joaquin Alfaro
I woke up to the sound of plates banging from the kitchen. I can smell some freshly baked bread and black coffee that had me hungry in an instant.
Putangina ang sakit ng ulo ko.
Fuck, I need that coffee.
I opened my eyes to see Chad Kristoff fucking Lim hugging me while we are squeezed on the couch.
"AHHH!"
"Ah," Chad whispered while rubbing his shoulder.
"Tubig," Parang gagong sabi ni Matthew.
WHY THE FUCK ARE THESE TWO MOTHERFUCKERS IN MY HOME????
WAIT.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
PANO KAMI NAKAUWI?
"Good fucking morning," Rinig kong sabi ni Iya kaya naman napalingon kami sa kanya.
"Breakfast is ready," Charry said with a huge smile on her face.
I rushed into the bathroom to take a shower and get cleaned. I fucking smell like vomit and beer. I stood under the shower and closed my eyes to think. So, to summarize things, I got drunk with Chad and Matthew last night. But why the fuck are they here in my condo? And how the fuck did we manage to get home?
Dumiretso ako sa kusina to see everyone already settled on the table. Umupo ako sa tabi ni Matthew habang napapagitnaan nila ako ni Chad having Charry and Iya sitting in front of us.
"We made hangover soup for you motherfuckers," Iya said.
"Bakit ba kayo nagpakalasing ng sobra?" Tanong ni Charry kaya naman nagkatinginan kami ni Chad.
Putangina. Nakakahiya. Gusto ko na lang mag laho ngayon.
"Stop being pathetic over someone like Kelly. Pag uminom ka pa at nagpaka tanga ulit dahil sa babaeng 'yun, lulunurin talaga kita sa empi," Iya warned as she gives me a bowl of hangover soup.
What the fuck Iya Nadine. Kung alam mo lang. I wasn't drunk because of her, I got drunk because of you.
"At ikaw? Bakit ka naman nagpaka lasing?" Tanong ni Iya kay Chad.
"And why are you asking? Concerned ka?" Tanong ko, cutting off Chad from answering.
"Shut the fuck up," Sabi ni Iya at biglang napunta ang atensyon niya kay Matthew.
"And who are you?" Tanong niya.
"Matthew. Matthew Sy. Ikaw?" Matthew introduced.
"Iya," Tanging sabi ni Iya.
"Ahh. So ikaw pala yung nagugustuhan ni El--" Hindi na natapos ni Matthew ang sasabihin niya dahil bigla ko siyang hinampas sa likod.
"Putangina ka wag kang mag salita habang kumakain," I told him.
"Baka mabulunan ka," I warned.
"Pano pala kami nakauwi?" Tanong ni Chad.
"Hindi ba masakit mga katawan niyo?" Tanong ni Iya kaya bigla kaming kinabahan.
What the fuck? That sounded like a threat.
"May ginawa ka ba samin?" I asked her.
"Kinaladkad ko kayo," She said that had the three of us surprised.
"What?!" Matthew exclaimed.
"Natutulog kayong tatlo sa kalsada so Iya did that to bring the three of you inside the car," Charry explains.
"Ubusin niyo na 'yan at mag linis kayo ng buong bahay pagkatapos," Iya said.
"For what?" I asked and she just glared at me in return.
"Sabi ko nga po, maglilinis po kami," I said as she walks out of the kitchen.
"Kuya, is your face okay?" Charry asked.
"Why? Did Iya punch me last night?"
"Nope," Charry replied.
"Then why did you ask?"
"Nag suntukan kasi kayo ni Elli kagabi," Sabi ni Charry na sadyang ikinagulat ko.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Chad and I asked in unison.
"Nag away sila?" Tanong ni Matthew kaya napatingin kami kay Charry, waiting for her answer.
"It was very childish. Pinag awayan niyo si Iya, arguing about who among you is her husband," Charry said.
F U C K I N G W H A T ? ? ? ?
Mathew and Charry laughed in unison as they watch us bury our faces in our palms and pull our hairs in frustration. That was fucking embarrassing.
"You guys should stop drinking," Charry said and she smirked before she walks out of the kitchen leaving Chad and me surprised and embarrassed.
"Mukhang 'yung sikreto mo ng labing tatlong taon naisiwalat lang dahil sa alak," Sabi ni Chad kaya naman pabiro ko siyang sinakal.
"Tangina ka, ikaw nag yayang uminom eh," Sabi ko kaya naman sinakal niya rin ako pabalik.
"Tangina ka rin. You claimed that Iya is your wife kaya syempre hindi ako pumayag," Chad said.
"Stop it children. What's done is done," Sabi ni Matthew.
"JUST DO YOUR FUCKING JOB AND FIND THE SENDER OF THE TEXTS!" Sabay naming sigaw ni Chad.
It was lunch when Matthew left to do his job, to trace the sender of the texts that threatens Iya's life. It's noon I am currently mopping the floor while Chad is cleaning the cabinets. And the two girls, Charry and Iya are laughing over some rom-com movie in the living room.
Charry is impressive. How can she just convince Iya Nadine to watch rom-com movies? Iya is into brutal and action movies. Rom-com is not just her type.
"I'm tired," Reklamo ni Chad
"Me too,"
"Tapos na kayo?" She asked, looking like my potential wife with her oversized black shirt and shorts, having her curly hair in a pony.
"Sabayan niyo na kaming kumain," She said before walking back to the living room.
"She's not your wife," Chad said before following Iya.
What the?
Did he just fucking read my mind???
When I approached them, I saw some cookies and slices of banana cake served on the center table.
"Nag order kayo?" I asked.
"Nope. Grandpops gave me some last night," Iya said as I sit next to her.
Gusto kita. Gustong gusto kita.
Words that I hope I can tell her.
"What?" Tanong ni Iya dahil kinalabit ko siya.
"Sorry for causing trouble last night," Bulong ko.
"You're a trouble maker anyway. Walang bago," She said and I chuckled in return.
"And you are always there for me anyway. Walang bago," I said, imitating her tone.
"Are you okay? About that bitch?" She asked.
"Of course I am," I said, assuring her.
"In your next relationship, pumili ka ng taong kilala mo na. Not someone you just met tapos gusto mo na agad without knowing everything about her," She said.
"Date me then," Sabi ko kaya naman natigilan siya at napatingin sakin.
