"How about this? Do you like this?" Elisse asked while showing me an orange dress that is definitely way too short and too sexy for me.
"I don't like dresses, Eljay. Just buy me a cup of coffee, okay na 'yun sakin," I said and she laughed in return.
"You are not just a somebody. You're our Naddy. Since hindi ka makapili, I'll just buy everything then," Sabi niya kaya naman nagulat ako.
"Eljay ano ba!" I warned her but she's not even listening to me.
"I will buy one each of everything in this store. And I'd like you to process it quickly," Utos niya sa mga staff.
"Elisse Jay," I warned her but she just smiled at me.
"How about some shoes?" Tanong niya habang tinitingnan ang mga paa ko.
"Ano ba. Sabing ayoko eh," I said, almost annoyed.
Nasa lahi ba talaga ng mga Alfaro ang pagiging makulit? Napaka tigas talaga ng ulo ng babaeng 'to. Ipipilit talaga ang mga gusto niya. Pareho sila ni Elli but she's worse.
"Wear this," She said while handing giving me a piece of squarepants and a beige tube.
"Ayoko," I said even though I like the color.
I love beige but the top is just too sexy. Halata namang hindi bagay sakin.
"Omo, my Naddy is rejecting me?"
"Alam mo naman na hindi ako nagsusuot ng ganyan eh," I said.
"Embrace change Naddy. Wear this tonight unless you want me to cut Elli's credit cards," Pananakot niya kaya naman agad kong inagaw sa kanya ang damit na hawak niya.
"Oo na. Susuotin na nga eh," Labag sa loob kong sabi.
"Kailangan ko rin ba gamitin si Elli for my Naddy to accept the car?" Tanong niya kaya hindi ko na lang siya pinansin at dumiretso na sa fitting room.
I just wanna go home right now. I am super tired. We've been strolling the mall for hours, we've entered all the stores, and I've tried everything that she wanted me to try. Elisse is crazy. The last time she threatened me to cut Elli's credit cards, it lasted for three months at talagang natanga si Elli. And she did all that just because I said NO about going to London with her. Meeting the Alfaros made me realized that rich people are low-key mental patients.
Tiningnan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin and I can't even figure out kung bagay ba sakin 'tong suot ko. Pero mas gusto ko na lang mag mukhang tanga para mabilis nang matapos ang araw na 'to. I just wanna go home.
"Masaya ka na?" Iritado kong tanong kay Elisse pag labas ko ng fitting room.
"Yup, masaya ako. You look exquisite," She said while clapping her hands slowly.
"You look like a Brazillian princess,"
"So? Uuwi na ba tayo?" Tanong ko at nagulat ako nang bigla niyang hinila ang ipit ng buhok ko, causing my hair to fall down.
"Perfect," She commented.
I sighed deeply. I hate my hair down but I have to deal with it so that Elli could keep his credit cards.
"Ma'am here are the clothes," Sabi ng staff at nagulat ako sa dami ng paper bags na binigay niya kay Elisse.
Nag hintay muna ako sa labas ng clothing shop habang pinoproseso ni Elisse ang bayad niya. Pero mas lalo lang akong nairita dahil pinagtitinginan ako ng mga tao.
