We finished our breakfast around 11 AM. Nasa labas kaming lahat ng shop habang nag hihintay ng mga sundo. Sabi ni Elli sabay na lang kami uuwi kaya naman hinihintay na lang namin na makauwi silang lahat bago kami umalis.
"Ang tagal namang mag pasko," Reklamo ni Ivan.
"Final exams muna bago pasko," Sabi naman ni Leo.
"'Yun nga eh," Ivan replied.
"I'll fuck up my finals for sure," Ivan added.
"Same," Charry and Cheska said before sighing in unison.
"If I ever ace the exams, we'll celebrate Christmas in one of our resorts and I'll shoulder all the expenses. Plus all of your families are invited," Sabi ni Ivan na sadyang ikinasaya ng lahat.
"Really?" Tanong ko.
"Really," Ivan said, assuring us.
"I'll help you with your exams then," I said that had them surprised.
"Everyone can come, every after class, 6 PM at the library," I told him.
"Seryoso???" Ivan asked, excited.
"Seryoso," I replied.
"Sama!" Leo said.
"Me too!" Cheska added.
"I'm coming for sure!" Sabi naman ni Charry.
"Okay good. Let's do our best to ace the finals," Sabi ko at sakto namang may humintong itim na Fortuner at pulang Chevrolet sa harap namin.
"See you in class," Sabi ni Cheska bago sila sumakay ni Leo sa loob ng sasakyan.
"Sasabay na 'ko sa kanila. Ingat kayo," Ivan said, smiling at Charry before entering the car.
"Let's go Kuya," Yaya ni Charry sa kapatid nito.
"Okay," Chad replied.
Charry gave me a high-five before entering the red Chevrolet which I know is Chad's car while Matthew gave Elisse a hug and smiled at us before leaving.
"Paano? Sa school na lang?" Chad asked with his hands inside the pocket of his jeans.
"Yup, sa school na lang," Elli replied.
"Mag ingat kayo. Lalo ka na," Chad said while looking at me.
"Ikaw din," Sabi ko at aalis na sana siya nang bigla siyang huminto at lumingon sakin.
"Don't worry about me. I'm better than okay," Sabi niya kaya naman napangiti ako.
"Alam ko," Tanging sabi ko bago siya tuluyang umalis.
"I called a taxi. May gusto pa ba kayong daanan bago umuwi?" Tanong ni Elli.
"I'll take another taxi," Elisse said.
"Why?" I asked.
"My place is opposite of Elli's and I think I need to give you two a privacy," Elisse replied.
"For what?" Tanong ko.
"For the almost 13-minute phone call of Elli with his ex," Sabi niya at sakto namang may humintong taxi sa harap namin.
"See you later," Elisse said before finally leaving.
"I'll call another taxi," Elli said while looking at his phone.
