General POV

Three hours later, Dhalia and Sierra were still playing outside and the team were playing ' spin the bottle ' in the living room. " You know, this will take alot of explaining if Dhalia and Sierra catch ya'll? " Voight laughs, sitting this game out alongside Al. " Well " Ruzak shruggs taking his turn. " ooo, can you and Kim swap places? " Ruzak beggs to Jay, after the bottle lands on Jay, who is sitting right next to Kim. " Not the rules Adam " Kim laughs. The whole team start chanting " Go, Go, Go! " Egging Jay and Adam on until they finally peck lips. " Okay, that's enough of this game! " Jay laughs pulling a funny face. " Ye, it's starting to get too unlucky " Ruzak laughs. The whole team are in fits of laughter, like they are back in secondary school. " Let's go join the girls outside " Al says finishing hi beer off. " yes, good idea. Make a picknic? " Hailey suggests since its lunchtime. " Oo, yes! " Jay replies getting up off the floor.

Haileys POV

I head off to the kitchen to make up some sandwiches and fruit boxes for us all. It's been really nice and relaxing here at the cabin with everyone. Chill time and fun isnt something we all get to do together often. We all needed this after the wild year we have all had. " Jay's cabin is awesome! " Kevin says coming to join me " Ye, it's really nice " I smile back. " How many more do you need made? " Kevin asks helping me with the sandwiches. " Just two, thanks kev " I reply boxing stuff up. " You and Jay are so lucky " Kevin says out the blue after having small talk for a few minutes. " What do you mean? " I ask looking up " You always have each others back and have done since day one. You have an amazing daughter and its clear how much you love each other. " Kevin adds causing me to let a tear escape. I know if I say anything I'll start crying, so I just embrace Kevin into a tight hug. " Ready? " Antonio asks breaking the moment " Yes, were ready " I reply grabbing the bag.

General POV

The whole team, plus Dhalia and Sierra, have got to Jay's ' perfect picnic ' spot after ten minutes of walking. Its near a ledge- but not too close-, surrounded by trees but with an opening to look over the rest of the forest below and the mountains behind the trees. " Damn Jay, this view! " Voight says, completely out of character for him. " Ye, this is amazing! " kim smiles. We lay out the picnic blanket and share the food out between us whislt talking about anything and everything. " Mom, can we climb the trees? " Sierra asks " Yes, just not near the edge " Kim's replies and the two girls run off giggling.

Jay's POV

We were all laughing and goofing around. Kevin and Antonio doing impressions of celebrities, whislt kim was drinking hers and Haileys share of beer. " Guess this film! " Voight says " Okay, go ahead " Hailey says still laughing at Kevin. Voight shakes his head before begining " YOU WANT THE TRUTH? YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH! " Voight shouts in his gravelry voice causing the whole team to erupt into laughter " A few good men! " Everyone shouts over each other. We continue to goof around and just have fun. We got to see another, more bubbly side of Hank which was really nice.

Hailey gets up and walks off, looking a little down. She went from laughing and looking really happy to looking down and like shes about to burst out crying. " Be back in a sec " I tell everyone as I stand up. They all noticed Haileys change in mood and were also concerned. " Hails, you okay? " I ask, putting the hand on the back of her shoulder. " Yes, I'm really good. I've never had an experience like this you know. Everyone laughing and happy when on holiday or whatever. I just got to me, having family around and just having fun. " Hailey says wiping her happy tears away. I bring Hailey into a hug and we stand there for a few seconds, taking everything in and just having a moment. " Thankyou Jay " Hailey says looking up into my eyes. " What for? " I ask " For everything you've done " Hailey smiles " No, Thankyou " I reply, shes the one I need to be thanking, not the other way round. We take a slow stroll back to the picnic area, hand in hand- Haileys head leaning resting on my arm.
