SKIP 3 YEARS--- Dorian 16//Ben 19

"But..Jannah I don't want to go" whined Dorian, as she and Jannah went to the town shops to look for dresses for the celebration of Endor . "You have too, you were nominated" She said locking arms with her as they walked down the city street. "I don't understand how that even happened ?"  She said walking at a dragging pace. 

Jannah lightly pushed her into a shop that sold formal wear. Jannah stopped  and turned Dorian to face her "What? is it because you have to dance with Ben?". Dorian groaned and rolled her eyes "uhh...I realllllly don't wanna do this". 

"It'll be okay, it's just a ceremony, and then you two can go back to hating each other" said Jannah with a smile. "Correction, he hates me, he's hated me since the day we met." 

Jannah started looking at the dresses that lined the wall and said out loud "Well you did humiliate him, in front of alot of people". Dorian scoffed and lazily looked at dresses "I didn't do it on purpose, he wouldn't leave Poe and Finn alone..besides it was a year ago" The two girls laughed and Jannah smirked "I think it was more than just embarrassing him, you are just as good of a Padawan as he is, and he's had to train his whole life, and you just 3 years- what about this one?" holding up a pink colored dress knowing Dorian would laugh. "Oh yeah, I love it" she said dripping with sarcasm. 

Dorian found herself in the area where the black and grey dresses were, it was all she basically wore, which didn't go un-noticed by Jannah and the others. "You're seriously gonna wear a black dress..."

Dorian shrugged "I guess...i'm still mourning." Looking back at the dresses she began to touch and feel the different textures of the fabrics. "How about just this once, you wear something..like blue..or I think red would look great on you."

Dorian began to chew on her bottom lip, she couldn't understand why she was being so difficult, Jannah has always been a kind and loving friend to her since they met. She, Finn, and Poe are the closest thing to a family she's had in a long time. Taking in a deep breath she smiled "OK- Red is fine." The two girls moved over to the red section and started sifting through dresses. "Sooo, has Finn asked you to the ball?" asked Dorian looking over at Jannah, who's shoulders dropped, "No!, I don't know what his deal is?". 

"well maybe it's because he doesn't know that you like him, I mean..you can tell that he likes you, but..guys are just...weird" Dorian said pulling down a large ball gown, with black accents at the top. 

"Oh that's gorgeous" Said Jannah touching the fabric. "Okay, well we need to find you a dress" Dorian began to look through the store and saw on a floating dress display, a dress that would be perfect for Jannah "That's the dress, come on, let's try them on" 

While the girls were in the dressing rooms, Poe and Finn, we're grabbing a bite to eat at one of the local eateries in town. "Where did the girls say to meet them?" asked Poe cutting through his food. Finn, with a mouth full of food said "At Verres, they're looking for dresses for the ball". 

Poe wiped his face off and said "well we better hurry up, and get going. Hey have you asked Jannah yet?" 

"I'm workin on it" said Finn grabbing his drink. "Yeah, well you better hurry up, before someone else ask her". Finn just moved his head in a mocking tone. "What about you, who are you going with?". Poe laughed lightly "Well I wanted to ask Kara, but she's got a date, so me and Dori are going as friends since she doesn't have a date. She said technically she's supposed to go with Solo...but" and Finn nodded "Yeah..we know how that goes". 

The two boys got up and went down the road to the shop, where they say Jannah, and Dorian come out of the dressing rooms, they left both of the boys breathless. 

They walked into the shop in sync, and said 'WOW', making the girls turn and smile "Hey boys, you like em?" asked Dorian, fluffing up her dress dramatically. Finn was smiling at Jannah, as he walked over to her "You look amazing". Dorian smiled and looked at Poe "Hey, let's go ..over and look at suits-". Poe replied "But I already have-" he stopped talking when he saw Dorians eyes widen, "-oh okay" once he realized it was so Finn and Jannah could talk alone. Dorian and Poe walked over to the men's section and pretended to look, but were trying to listen to their conversation. They were talking quietly when they heard from behind "Dorian?", making her turn around, "General Organa-HHHi". Leia smiled at Dorian, "I see you've picked out a dress''.

Dorian looked down at her dress, "uhh yeah. Jannah helped me pick it out..oh this is my friend Poe Dameron" 

Leia, said "Yes, I know all about Mr Dameron, he's becoming one of the best jr fighter pilots, we've had and your brother is showing real promise as a Jr ground tactics commander.",  to which Poe smiled and said "Thank you General, ill let him know you said that".

Before the conversation could continue, the tall raven haired Ben Solo, came around the corner "Mom, I'm getting this one" he said not noticing Poe and Dorian standing with his mother. She turned to look at her son  who was wearing a black suit with a red vest, that matched Dorians dress that she was still currently wearing "Oh Ben, you look so handsome, and what do you know, Dorians, dress is red", Ben looked down and Dorian looked up, their eyes locked, and Ben scowled at her, and Dorian smirked at him. Leia moved Ben next to Dorian "look at you two, Poe don't they look nice?" Poe tried to hold back a laugh, "Oh yes, you guys look lovely together". Dorian had to hold back a growl towards Poe. Ben rolled his eyes and stalked back from where he just came. 

Leia watched her son and then turned back to Dorian "Don't mind him, he's probably just nervous about the first ceremonial dance" 

Dorian was sure she just hallucinated, "I'm sorry General...ceremonial dance?". Leia was confused by her not knowing what she meant "Yes...didn't Ben tell you, after the ceremony you two have the first dance." 

Dorian took in a deep breath and held back a scream. Poe started laughing and Leia stood in confusion, "He did not tell me, but that's okay... we better get going Poe, nice to see you General"

Dorian and Jannah quickly changed, paid for their dresses, and Dorian ushered them quickly out of the store, so she could rant and about how mad she was, that Ben didn't even mention that they had to dance together.
