What happened on the ship... Kureha's Point of View...
I swear most of these young people think they're invincible. They're going to get themselves killed trying to save their allies like that without any real plan. Especially going when one of them came back so close to death not that long ago. Still has the fresh scars to prove it. That girl is one of the most stubborn people that I have ever met.

I better get what I can to help her. She's going to need some more medical attention when she tries to come back to this ship. I honestly need to get better at keeping these patients where they need to be. So I get Jackdaw and Kestrel to help me out because Eder is too shy, while Fulmar can have very conflicting feelings like all of the ones with purple eyes. Never could figure that out. The ones that were the least emotional, to my knowledge, out of them (the purple eyed ones Arrow, Fulmar, Godwall, Lapwing, and Sparhawk) were Arrow and Sparhawk. Arrow I figured was the oldest but Sparhawk was the youngest. Probably just went through a lot.

Anyway, as the boys are going about their tasks I heard something. Something cackling but moving fast. I grabbed Fulmar and Eder since they were closest to me at the time and jumped off the ship into the water. There was 3 more splashes that I heard when I got back up to the surface of the water and started swimming away from the ship in chilly waters.

Sparhawk's Point of View...
The ship was burning off the coast in front of us and we turned around to see Germa soldiers were there. Most of us were heavily injured and Derek couldn't take all of us. Besides I wasn't willingly going to leave the people who helped us behind again.

I see movement in the ranks and soon there's a break. There stands my mother with King Tullius on horseback. She speaks up and says, "It could have been so much easier if you had just listened to me little one. Or better yet, if Gerome had actually killed you when you were just a baby."

"Then thered be no way for you to use the ancient weapon Uranus then." I retorted. "Though as horrible as my life has been in the past I'm glad I grew up the way I did. I learned so much and have some good people who care about me. People I can and should trust more." I looked at Brook and smiled before continuing. "Those that can't or aren't willing to fight stay behind us."

"You truly are a stubborn child. Tullius you mind killing those children of mine and their associ..." she was interrupted by a wound to the gut. "How... *cough*... could... *gasp*... you? We had... *wheeze* a deal." She then went limp. All colour drained from her body.

"We did and once I get rid of them all but the girl and the dragon half breed me and my sons will have the power we need." King Tullius said.

Then my brothers Godwall, Iceland, and Honey cried out and attacked him but with their injuries got taken down easily. It was very unlikely they'd survive.

The woman who had caused me so much pain was dead just like that. Some of my brothers had been taken down in front of me. There was so many emotions running through me I had no idea what to feel or where to direct it at. I could hardly breathe. King Tullius kept talking but I couldn't hear what he was saying. Coot turned into a crow and hopped on my shoulder nuzzling my check to try to calm me down.

Lapwing, Arrow, Daniel, and the others started to join the fray themselves despite their own injuries. Even after what just happened. When I looked at what my brothers were doing my eyes landed on Vinsmoke Tullius. I directed my anger at him. He took the chance to get my revenge on that woman. He was further hurting my brothers after his sons nearly killed me.

I went into a frantic attack. Most of his men were taken out from my hands before he fell. I started shaking. My emotions got the better of me. More of the people helping us died. Then some more of their forces came led by the eldest son I was supposed to marry. I tried to reason with him because out of all of them I believed him to be the most reasonable.

He tells me that he'd leave when he got compensation for what happened. We'd have to give him the knowledge from long ago and he'd leave. I didn'thave any idea what to do.

Derek's Point of View... Shortly after the queen was taken down...
Sparhawk's heart was racing. Probably unsure what to do. I hear faint noises from the water. Stealthily I make my way over to where the noise is making its way to. I make out some figures swimming through deadly cold waters. Soon I realized it was survivors from the ship.

I assisted Kureha, Jackdaw, Kestrel, Eder, Fulmar, and the boy make it to shore. Fulmar looked rather upset like he'd lost his other half. Yet furious at the same time like he was going to do something crazy. I hit him upside the head.

Despite all of them being drenched and chilly the boy seemed to be shaking rather badly despite Kestrel swimming him over from the wreckage. Kureha said, "The boy has hypothermia and needs to warm up fast." I scoop him up and have him against my chest. He started breathing easier.

I looked over quick to the port not that far away and looked back at Kureha. She glanced over and saw what was happening. Then she came back and said, "We have to get who we can out." So we made a plan.

Grizzles Point of View... current time...
Since the Vinsmokes didn't really know about me I've been hiding in the woods since before they arrived. I was mostly busy doing bear things and getting to attached to these people was getting a little close for comfort. Derek I genuinely liked. The feeling was mutual. Sparhawk seemed to like me well enough though. I have started to like her though.

Though I had to say charging out the woods then attacking some enemy soldiers felt pretty good. I charged through enemy lines til I made it to Sparhawk. Everyone was surprised. Most were shocked. Sparhawk started calming down when I let her pet me. The bird on her shoulder smelt like the one armed human they called Coot. He smelled like dinner. What would Sparhawk do without me though.

I noticed Derek coming back from the port. Not considering that he smells like sweaty lizard, mixed with human and charcoal. Can't stand the smell. He was also carrying the small boy. Probably had some plan with the doctor woman I smelled. It was faint from being it water but i could smell the medicine on her still.

The skinny guy, Brook, gets close and I stare him down. That normally works. He flinched but it didn't stop him this time. He's getting a bit braver. Then Derek comes over and Sparhawk notices looking a bit confused. It passes quickly before the enemy notices.

Just about the time we start charging Derek puts the kid on my back. The things i do for these people. Then he turns into a dragon Kureha comes and pressure points Brook and Sparhawk knocking them out before throwing them on Derek's back. She grabs the boy and jumps onto his back as well. Derek takes off, aiming the wind from it at the enemy.

The 4 guys that were on the fireball now jump into action as well. Kestrel, and Jackdaw turned into a yummy bird too like Coot and tells him they have to follow Derek as backup. Fulmar freaked out and got mad when he saw Godwall laying on the ground and went on a rampage. The other 2 joined the fray to hold them off with the other allies joining in as well. I decided what else was there to do but do some more fighting.

Soon after Derek had finally flown away and things weren't looking good I decided to hop in the water and swim away. So I could live to fight another day. Also, so they wouldn't see I took Gerome with me. Much less where I was taking him.
