Chapter 23

Hailey, who warned Wendy to not drink a lot, was now drunk herself after having 5 drinks. She got a notification on her phone and when she checked it, she saw that Jin registered her absent before the class even started.From first chapter we know that drunk Hailey can be quite uncontrollable and crazy. Hailey, in her drunk state, rushed out of the club in anger without saying goodbye to Wendy and John and called Jin.

"Hello?" Jin picked up.

"Kim Seokjin! Get down here now! Come down otherwise, I will make a scene at your lobby. I will make sure everyone at your neighborhood know how evil you are!" Hailey furiously said.

Jin got out of his building and found Hailey sitting on the ground and cursing him.

"Hey get up, don't make a fool of yourself here." Jin said .

Hailey raised her head and grabbed his T-shirt.

"Kim Seokjin, aren't you going too far !"

Jin just shaked off causing his T-shirt to tear up as Hailey's grip was tight but he didn't react at all and started walking inside the lift. Hailey shouted from behind and then took the other lift.

"Hey!" Hailey said loudly but Jin didn't respond and unlocked his apartment's door .

Hailey hesitatingly followed him to his door.

"Move away, I'm closing the door." Jin said furiously but Hailey just got inside.

Jin was putting his keys inside the drawer and when he turned around, Hailey furiously placed her right hand on the wall behind him which surprised him.

"Kim Seokjin, let me tell you.....you can't do this!" Hailey shouted.

"What can't I do?" He replied with a flirty smile.

"You can't mark me absent for the class which hasn't even started." Hailey said but Jin just pulled her hand from the wall and moved away.

But when Hailey's phone started ringing, he snatched her phone from her and raised it high enough so that Hailey can't reach it.

"Give it back to me!" Hailey tried to catch it but Jin was too tall for her.

Jin's POV//

I looked at the screen and the caller is John , so she went to the club with him. I was angry so I picked up the call.

"Hailey? Are you okay? We have been looking for you , where are you?" John said.

"She's good, thank you for your concern." I replied.

"....Who are you?! Why .." He was saying something but I hung up.

"Who called? .......Give me back my phone?" Hailey said as he tried to take her phone from me.

"I..." said before falling on my chest.

"Hey." I said but she passed out.

I carried her bridal style and took her to the guest room to lay her down on the bed. I looked at her cute sleeping face for a while , she looked tired. I poked her cheek gently and giggled after seeing her scrunching her nose to my action.

The next day~

3rd person's POV//

Jin was taking the class attendance and when he called Hailey's name twice, Wendy tried speaking for her.

"Professor, Hailey felt sick today so she went to the hospital, she will hand up her work....." before Wendy could finish, Hailey came.

"Here!" Hailey said while rushing into the class.

||Flashback||

Hailey woke up with a headache and it took some minutes for her to realize where she was.

"I'm late! How could I doze off at Professor Jin's place?!" Hailey said to herself loudly.

||End of flashback||

"Professor, I'm late but I'm not absent!" Hailey said with an awkward smile.

"Hailey, Wendy, you both are counted absent." Jin said with a straight face.

The class ended.
Wendy and Hailey got out of their classroom looking depressed.
"Hailey....." Wendy sighed .

"Where were you last night! Why did you drink so much!" Wendy said with a sad tone.

"How about we request Professor Jin to let us off this time." Wendy again said with hope in her eyes.

"He won't agree." Hailey replied.

"How can we be so sure without even trying, just accompany me please. I can't afford to lose grades, my dad will scold me." Wendy said.

"Alright." Hailey agreed.

They arrived outside the teachers room.

"Professor Jin, I'm Wendy ." Wendy knocked on the door.

"I'm coming in." Wendy said before opening the door.

She then quickly shut the door as she closed her eyes with her hands and said : "Sorry for disturbing !"

"What happened?" Hailey said worriedly.

"I'm done! I saw something I should have not seen!" Wendy replied.

"What?" Hailey asked again.

"I saw.... Professor Jin and a woman doing that thing." Wendy said.

"What?!!"
