Chapter 12

"Professor..." Hailey said confusedly.

"Aren't you scared of thunder?" Jin asked as he massaged his temple.

Just when Hailey was about to say something, the sound of thunder made her scream. After seeing that, a smile appeared on Jin's face and he called her scaredy cat which made Hailey feel a little embarrassed.

Jin started doing some work on his laptop and Hailey was watching him. So Jin told her that he was preparing for his class tomorrow and asked her to sleep on his bed. After about an hour, Jin closed his laptop and yawned. He approached Hailey who was sleeping soundly and caressed her cheeks before leaving the room.

The next morning ~

Hailey sat with Wendy and Wendy could see that Hailey was very tired. So she offered her some food and Hailey thanked her with a hug.

"Where did you sleep yesterday night? Your mobile is off so I couldn't reach you." Wendy worriedly said.

Hailey was about to reply but the teacher came into the class and after seeing the teacher, she quickly put down her head on the table. Wendy felt suspicious and asked something had happened between her and Jin but Hailey quickly said no.

All the female students were trying to talk with Jin. Majority of them had a crush on this handsome teacher. Seeing Jin surrounded by female students made Hailey feel something. Something she didn't know, was it jealousy, sadness or ignorance?

Hailey's eyes started to feel really heavy and eventually she fell asleep. Her eyes opened again when she felt Wendy patting her back and telling her that the professor asked a question. After hearing that she quickly stood up and Jin told her to repeat his question. She started sweating but fortunately her best friend was there to help her. Wendy mouthed the question and Hailey was somehow able to speak that. But she was struggling to answer it.

"Professor Jin, our classmate Hailey just broke up so she is not feeling well. I bet she couldn't sleep at night. It is quite understandable that she couldn't handle her tiredness and slept in class. Professor, please don't be mad." Zuyu, the class's princess, said to Jin to show how much of a good and kind girl she was. And also to indirectly taunt Hailey.

" Are you two close? " Jin asked frowning.

" Nope. I'm just worried about her. " Zuyu replied.

Then Jin told them to sit down and got back to his work.

"Wow, she thought he would praise her. I heard that she has a big crush on Professor Jin, she must feel humiliated in front of the class, look at her expression." Wendy whispered to Hailey.

Zuyu wanted to impress Jin and get his attention. She is the most 'pretty' girl in their batch and she is also from a rich background. She definitely wanted to be praised by Jin or at least wanted him to punish Hailey but she failed.

Hailey and Wendy were now walking in the hall.

"Today's class was really fun. I told you that Professor Jin has better taste, he is not going to get seduced by that bitch." Wendy said to Hailey.

Wendy was talking about Jin with Hailey and by their surprise he came to them. Wendy was a bit surprised and was going to ask something but Jin said before she could.

" Hailey, come with me. " Jin said to Hailey.
